Robyn's POV
Fritzi and I walked through the grocery store, we were trying to find the ice cream aisle. As we walked we heard 4 familiar voices. We peeked around the corner, and saw them. The four boys we had known for the longest time. They were arguing over what kind of cake mix to buy.
"But red velvet is RED!" Ringo yelled. George rolled his eyes.
"We don't even know what kind of cake is their favorite! How long have we known them?" George asked.
"Only 4 years!" Paul argued back, "And I think we should just go with the Birthday flavor!" He said.
"No, McCartney, we need to get Super Choco-latè Double Chocolate Chip Fudge Brownie!" He said holding up a family sized package.
"Or, maybe, we could just get the normal size!" George said as he read the back of the box, "Feeds 12" he said.
"But this one feeds 25," John said tapping the side of the box.
"But there are only gonna be like 7 of us there!" Paul said. John rolled his eyes, as they walked off to pay for the cake mix.
"Wow..." I almost forgot one of my best friends was beside me, "we are all gonna get diabetes..." She said. I chuckled, and we finally found the ice cream aisle. We bought out own ice cream containers, and we went home. The boys were there, and as soon as I turned on the light.
"SURPRISE!" They shouted.
"Oh, diabetes, and a heart attack!" Fritzi whispered in my ear behind me. I rolled my eyes, and said hello to the boys.
"Hello," they all said back in unison. I took the bag of ice cream into the kitchen to see the my oven in smoke. I ran over to it to try to save whatever was inside it. There was a chocolate brick with bits of candle strung about. There was a bit of burnt icing too. I scrunched up my nose, and closed the oven. I shut it off as everyone came in.
"You guys should really read the directions on the box..." I said. I looked at them.
"See John, I told you the flour went in AFTER we baked it!" Paul said. Fritzi looked at me, and sighed shaking her head. I pulled out the poor scorched pan, and told them to clean it up since I had spent the entire day before cleaning the kitchen spotless. I smirked and Fritzi, and I walked back into the living room.
"So," we both said at the same time. We both turned to the side, and turned back toward each other. We both had gifts in hand.
"Wow," I said, "I think we spend too much time together!" I said sarcastically. She rolled her eyes, and we exchanged gifts. Mine was a scarf.
"Aw yes! A tail!" I yelled looping the scarf around a belt loop. She laughed, and opened the corny gift I got her.
"Really?" She asked, "Like from the story?" She asked pulling out a peace medallion.
"Yeah," I said. She laughed, and slipped it on.
"I even got "2 for 3; 3 for 2" etched on it! I said. She laughed even harder.
"We got your kitchen cleaned up," Ringo said still looking ashamed.
"Thank you," I said standing up, and giving his cheek a kiss. He smiled, and I pulled out the ice cream. They pulled out candles, and we celebrated mine ans Fritzi's relationship. We had been friends for a full years that day. We had great fun. Hopefully our relationship will remain happy, and no arguments will ever be in our future.
"Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: 'What! You too? I thought I was the only one.'" ― C.S. Lewis
