This is a one-shot of a Riverdale story I had in the back of my mind when I watched this scene in the movie.

I figured I would share how I pictured this story to go. Let me know if I should continue.

The chilling air was cold enough to give a pink haze to Betty's cheeks and ears

as she pointed the gun at Chic's back. The tension thick trough the air

a resounding silence that was ended quickly by Chic's solemn question.

'Who was that Betty; who was that who called you? With that weird ringtone?' he said shuddering on his wording

'You'll find out, now that it's just us; did you do it, did you kill my brother?'

'Got into a fight; I lost control, I did not mean to hurt him' Turning around with heart felt guilt in his eyes,

eyes that were looking for mercy. He found none staring back at him.

Behind Chic the masked man walks out of the dense brush, like a hunter stalks it's pray.

'Who's that?' Chic asked with terror seeping into his voice

'You're very own angel of death; the black hood, he's the one that called me'

'If that's true Betty why are you not running for you're life?'

'No, he's not interested in me... I am going to give you a head start; id say you have

about a seventy present chance of making it before he cuts you down. Really you should start running'

The masked man starts walking towards them; confidence driving each step.

' sixty percent, the more you stall the more you're chances keep dropping; what are

you waiting for?' Fear starts to seep into Chic's face as he realizes that this is

not a game and that the woman standing in front of his is more dangerous than this

man could ever be. 'fifty' He books it trying to get past the man before he gets cut off.

Betty slowly raises her arm 'zero' she lets the the projectile fly as the gun makes a

resounding 'BANG!' throughout the clearing a metal shell piercing the back of the mans

skull; blood spilling from the wound like a dam with a hole.

She takes a moment to look at her kill, slowing changing her piercing green glare towards

the masked vigilante 'I put on my hood, it's time to take you'rs off and retire. Before

you meet my bad side; I can handle Riverdale.'

and without even a single glace towards the motionless body; Betty struts her way back

towards the beacon of light; Riverdale.
