Death is a Sacrifice Worth Sacrificing
By Taylor Reutman
Prologue: Overreactions
ERAGON'S POV:
Arya is dead, Saphira.
QUEEN ISLANZADI'S POV (on the other side of Alagaesia):
My daughter is dead!
NASUADA'S POV (miles from Eragon):
She has been slain!
ERAGON'S POV:
Thorn has had a victory over the elves. They lost their princess. And I lost the woman I loved! I make my promise stronger now! I will avenge Arya's death and claim our own victory over the empire! Are you with me Saphira? Eragon sent this thought through the mental link he and Saphira shared.
Of course, little one. Why wouldn't I be with you? You doubt my allegiance! Saphira roared.
Of course I don't! I asked it with the answer being assumed. I'm sorry.
I overreacted. My apologies, little one.
A/N: This is a prologue of what's to come. Please note that I am not Christopher Paolini. Only the story plotline is mineā¦.
With all of that said, I enjoy reading reviews and getting a grasp on what readers like and dislike. I will work on Chapter One, but I will not post it until I have achieved a minimum of FIVE reviews. Please R/R!!! I really appreciate it!
