Her slim long fingers ran over the silver frame. She had been surprised she'd admit to find this in his house, to find it any where for that matter. She couldn't even remember when it had been taken or who had taken it. It was a perfect shot. The picture depicted a young brunette clad in a dark NCIS wind breaker; a baseball hat over her twisted hair. The fact that it was windy when the picture was take was evident in the way the jacket looked ready to tear itself off the brunettes body, and in the few piece of mocha brown hair that were in front of her face. There was a silver haired man in front of her he had one hand placed on her shoulder and it looked like he had just been telling her something important. His eyes were bright and serious, hers were wary and upset. There was nothing but trees in the background and a wide open blue sky.

The young agent was too engrossed in the picture to hear the steps of loud boots behind her. She didn't even know some one else was in the room until he wrapped his strong arms around her waist and pulled her to him. The brunette smiled and looked up at him holding the silver frame in her hands. Her eyes were moist for a reason she couldn't quiet place something to do with the sheer bliss of such a moment. She sniffled and formed a brighter smile to ease his worried look.

"You need a better picture, Jet."

He laughed as he hugged her closer, and removed the silver frame from her fingers. The older agent laid the frame on the table it had come from before capturing the young brunettes lips in a slow kiss.

"Why?" he asked after they had pulled apart, "you look beautiful in any picture."

His compliment was answered with a slow smile and a giggle.
