AN: So I really like the idea of Sam/Santana and decided to write a quick drabble. All spelling and grammar mistakes are my own. Please review, it's like crack to me. For the purposes of this story just assume Quinn/Sam never happened. Like .1% spoiler warning from Silly Love Songs.

"I'm not running away from this…"

"The truth is Santana, you can dish it out but you can't take it. OK maybe your right maybe I am destine to play the title role in the Broadway musical version of Willow but the only job your gonna have is working on a pole!" Rachel said.

"Fine." Santana replied, walking out of the choir room, ignoring Mr. Shue's voice calling her back inside. Not even 5 minutes had passed when she heard the sound of footsteps approaching.

"I don't really want to talk right now Britt." She spat without even turning around, "Just go back to Glee."

"Actually I already sent Brittany back." Sam said, "I was hoping that we could talk."

"Get lost froggy lips." She spat out turning to look at him as he sat on the ground next to her.

"Why do you do that?" he questioned, "You put up these walls and you don't let anyone in." he clarified at her look.

"Maybe because I don't need people like you around to piss me off." She said back.

"I don't give up that easy San." Sam replied, "You wanna sit here and call me names, fine, but I'll be here when you're ready to talk."

"Whatever."

"I mean it." He said, "I'm not letting this go, I can feel this thing between us but every time I get close to figuring it out you push me away I'm done running away from this, so do something, get angry, yell, scream, cry, I don't know, hit me… just do something!" he pleaded.

And she did, she hit him square in the chest, multiple times in fact, and when she was done she buried her face into him and cried as he wrapped his arms around her.

They just sat there in the hallway for a while, the bell rang and people where dismissed from class but neither of them moved. A little while later the hallways where cleared and Santana finally looked up at Sam.

"I'll take you home?" he suggested. She nodded and he helped her up, wrapping an arm around her shoulder as they exited the school.

When they reached her house a few minutes later he got out and opened her door for her. She looked at him quizzically but didn't say anything, and she couldn't bring herself to protest as he grabbed her hand and intertwined their fingers.

He finally spoke up when they reached her door. "I like you, San." He said, "Your beautiful and your honest, and I think I'm falling for you, harder than I originally planned." He let out a breath, "So before I go any further with this potentially embarrassing speech I was just wondering if you wanted to be my girlfriend?"

"I was hoping you would ask me that." She said honestly. "Just kiss me Sam."

So he did, and it was better than either of them ever expected it to be.
