You're Right—A Code Geass Fanfic
I was watching Code Geass R2 episode 24, and this scenario just popped into my head, and was screaming to be written, and I usually post what I write. This might not be very good, just warning you. And so no one decides to sue me,
I do not own Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2. I do not own anything related to Code Geass either, so stop calling your lawyers.
"C.C., are you okay?" questioned the young emperor. "You're worried about me, huh?" replied the witch. "You're one of the most important people in my forces." "That's why I came to pick that up," she stated, indicating to the purple and black shield to her left.
"Can I count on you for protection then?" asked Lelouch. "So you're heading out? You may be forced to kill Nunnally," warned C.C. "If she is an obstacle to the Zero Requiem, then so be it."
C.C. took on a somber look. "You don't hate me Lelouch? After all, the Geass that I gave you has changed your fate drastically," said C.C. "This is very unlike you witch." C.C. looked up to his face again. "C.C., it's thanks to the Geass, to you, that I was able to begin this. Everything from there on is my own…." She smiled now, and began to walk up to Lelouch. "This is the first time I've ever met anyone like you," said C.C. Lelouch started to walk up to her as well. "C.C..."
They didn't get to do anything else however, as a loud explosion destroyed the wall to their side, and through the hole came Kallen in the Guren Seiten Hakkyokushiki. "Kallen!" exclaimed Lelouch. "Time for me to stop you," Kallen said, Radiant Wave Surger arm aimed at Lelouch. "Sayonara, Lelouch."
She was stopped however, be C.C., who had gotten into her Knightmare, gotten her shield, and fired missiles at the Guren. Of course the Guren had blocked the missiles, but the point of the volley was to distract Kallen long enough for Lelouch to get into the Shinkiro.
Kallen had been able to lock onto the Shinkiro before Lelouch could get into it, but her aim was thrown off be C.C. ramming her. "I'll handle this, head to the Damocles!" exclaimed C.C.
"Annoyance!" yelled Kallen.
Lelouch looked a bit shocked. "But you can't fight against the Guren, it's too—" C.C. didn't let him finish.
"I'm more than glad that you are worried about me." This prompted another surprised look on Lelouch's face. "So finish this quickly and return. Then I can smile for you, got it?"
"Right, that's a promise," responded Lelouch, fully intent on keeping it. With that, he launched the Shinkiro towards the Damocles, and to his final battle. "Don't you dare die on me, Lelouch," thought C.C. before resuming her fight with Kallen.
The two had moved their battle outside, where they had much more room. Kallen started to blast away at enemy support units, while C.C. managed to avoid every shot.
"Why do you fight C.C.? You don't have a country to fight for, and you don't have anyone you need to avenge, so if you don't have a reason to fight, then get lost!" yelled Kallen.
"My reason is my promise," explained C.C.
"Does that mean you love Lelouch?" Kallen asked before firing at C.C. again.
"…" was all Kallen got in reply. "Well? Answer me!"
"I'm not sure. I still want to end this endless hell."
"Finally talking like a human now, eh?" asked Kallen before firing her slash harkens at the Lancelot. C.C. was able to block the harkens with the shield, and was able to do some thinking in the process. Unfortunately, for her, this led to her downfall, as Kallen rushed up to the Lancelot and slashed at the chest of the unit, incapacitating the mech and forcing C.C. to eject.
"You were right Kallen, I do love him." She said to no one in particular, as her com system was down. "I'll be waiting for you, Lelouch," she thought as her cockpit crashed into the ocean.
