The story you are about to read is one of tragedy…or is tragic. Either one works in this case.

It's a gift for a friend ….and for me… sort of…

Also, remember this is a prologue….nothing will be truly explained until later…

The only place to start this story right…is in the middle

If everything began to fall apart… what would you do to get it back?

Junior's Inferno:

Peculiar Prologue

Nergal Junior had slowly woken up from what he perceived to be the longest night he ever had. He noticed that he had slept with his glasses on, and by the looking at his surroundings he was on the floor of his Cousin Billy's room. Junior strained to get up but to no avail, his limbs felt oddly sore. Instead, he decided to lay there and try to remember how the heck he ended up on his cousin's floor in the first place.

What's this…? He eyes gazed onto a locket on his chest. He had enough strength to open it. What he saw inside was a picture of him….and a blond haired girl…

…his beloved…

Something was wrong though…the glass on the picture was cracked on the girl's face….

As if on cue, memories began to flow into his mind like a flood…but memories of what….a dream perhaps…?

Wait…I remember something… Junior thought

my love…

She…was killed…

by…three brothers

Tried to save her but…

I-I couldn't…

was too weak…

The memories began to flow faster and faster while Junior tried to decipher them the best he could in his fatigued state.

I remember…fury…. Malice

wanted vengeance….

took Grim's scythe…by force…

fought them… killed them…

stole their souls…

wasn't satisfied…

Killed everyone… in…city…

I only thought of her… her beautiful face…

He had started to become afraid of remembering further, the images becoming more…rigid…darker…gruesome… but he kept going…

wanted her back…

wanted to fix everything…

.searched for her soul…in the underworld….

there were three men…no…demons…

the middle one…he was … strongest…

had power…

enough to fix everything…

like it never happened…

she would return…

but…a price….

didn't care…

wanted…her…

so I promised…

and they…and he…accepted…

all for her…

for…her….

All those strange memories…they couldn't possibly be real…she wasn't killed…he couldn't have killed anyone….Junior decided to fade back into sleep. It was all just a horrible dream that was finally over…right?

"Wake up…"

The spontaneous voice, so dark in presence, made Junior quickly gets up to stare at the owner of the voice, completely forgetting about his fatigue. The figure looked like a caped shadow, except that it had glowing blue eyes with blue flames flowing from atop of his head. Junior wouldn't have been able to fight the monster even if he wasn't tired.

"Do not be alarmed" the specter continued, a smile upon his shadowy face "This is about your…business agreement…"

Business agreement? Junior thought, What could he- …Junior had suddenly recognized the monster...it was one of the three demons from the dream... or memory? He did not wish to fight him, so he nodded a reply.

"Well then, since that has been settled," the flaming demon said "you must come with me, you have a meeting with your…our master…" the specter began to leave the room.

Junior began to follow the specter, he wasn't thinking of why…he could have almost cared less at the moment…only of seeing his beloved …and meeting the specter's 'master' again was the only way of doing that…

At that moment, he forgot his sudden fear… or his unexplained memories…

...and the price it cost to fix it all…
