Oliver was definitely put out. "I DETEST swimming."

Felicity was unfazed. "Nobody said anything about swimming."

"You're holding swim trunks in your hands."

"So you'll develop as little tan line as possible. I hope I got your size right… I chose XL…" Felicity blushed, and, realizing the double meaning, hectically continued: "You can sunbathe nude, of course..."

She clasped her mouth shut.

In the background Diggle tried to fight the emergence of a huge grin on his face and lost.

Oliver took a deep, exasperated sigh. "Last time I checked sunbathing might cause skin cancer and wrinkles. You seriously want me to risk that?"

"Vigilanting might cause violent death by unusual means and big scars. You're risking that every night. Sunbathing is only dangerous if you stay in the sun too long and forget to use sunscreen." Felicity had caught herself again.

"I am NOT going up on the roof of Club Verdant and do nothing but lie around and fry my brain for hours."

Diggle knew why he was throwing such a tantrum. Lying around doing nothing meant having time to think, to contemplate things… and given the situation with his mother… the return of Sara… the problems with Roy Harper… there was a lot to think about….

"This is about keeping your cover as Oliver Queen, party boy and CEO", Felicity tried one more time. "You've developed a really unhealthy looking pale complexion. This might raise suspicions. Your public image implies trips to all the really cool places – Aruba, Tahiti, Caymans… We've got to feed that image."

"NO."

Oliver turned to start up the stairs and leave.

"There's an alternative option, of course…" Felicity held up a small bottle.

Frowning, Oliver walked back to her, took the bottle in his hand and read the label. "Self tanning cream?"

Felicity gave him an innocent smile.

Oliver sighed again. "I guess you're right." He headed towards the lair's shower room.

Diggle lay back in his chair and studied Felicity. Her eyes were following Oliver's retreating form… There was a certain glint in them he had rarely seen before… triumph…

Could it be?

A minute later they heard Oliver call: "Uh… I might need help with some areas I can't reach…"

"On my way!" Smiling everything but innocently, Felicity hurried towards the shower room.

"Nicely done…" Diggle whispered as she zoomed past him.

For the briefest of moments she winked at him.
