"Nooooo I don't wanna go!" Young Minerva Malfoy screamed, clinging to the edge of her bed for dear life.

"Minnie, dear, you HAVE to go! You have no choice!" Minerva's mother, Darlene, pulled at her feet. "C'mon, dad will meet us there and then after we'll go for dinner- Anywhere you'd like, Minnie!"

"NOOO DON'T MAKE ME GO! I HATE THE DOCTORS OFFICE!" Minerva screamed, throwing her arms over the bed post and making it harder for her mother.

"Minerva Narcissa Malfoy-let go!" Darlene yelled, pulling as hard as she could as her daughter hung on. "Aaah!" she screamed, falling over the edge of the bed and tumbling to the floor.

"Don't make me!" Minerva screamed, scrambling up her bed and hiding under the covers.

"Owww," Darlene moaned, walking out of the room as a sign that she's given up. Darlene went downstairs and sat down on the couch. Suddenly, the door opened. Foot steps made their way in, and them the door was shut.

"Darlene? Are you still home?" Darlene's husband, Draco, called out.

"On the couch," Darlene sighed.

"Hey, why aren't you and Minerva at the doctors office?" Draco asked, plopping down next to Darlene.

"She refuses. I stood on her bed and tried to pull her out, and I fell. The girl is very set on not going," Darlene told Draco.

"Well should I go talk to her?" he asked.

"It could be worth a try," Darlene mumbled.

Draco walked upstairs and knocked on Minerva's door.

"Minnie? Come on out," Draco called.

"NO. I'm not going, Daddy!" Minerva cried from under the sheets.

Draco made his way over to the side of Minerva's bed and slowly pulled the sheets off of little Minerva.

"Why not, Minnie?" he asked.

"I don't like it there. It's.. it's scary," Minerva inched slowly away from her father.

"Darling, it's not scary. It's only to make sure you're healthy," Draco sighed.

"Well it seems scary," she inched slowly back under the sheets.

"C'mon," said Draco, pulling the sheets off, "let's go."

"G-go where?" Minerva asked, pulling the sheets up again.

"Downstairs," Draco answered, pulling the sheets off again. He picked up Minerva and carried her downstairs.

"Hey, Minnie, ready to go?" Darlene asked. Minerva nodded slowly, as if she didn't know where she was going to. Darlene ran out to their car, before Minerva could realize where they were going.

"Hon, why not just Apparate?" Draco asked, eyebrows raised.

"Because someone will notice us! You can't just magically Apparate, any muggles there will know about magic!" Darlene answered.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. It's be faster," Draco mumbled.

Once Minerva was strapped into her chair, Draco started the car and the family was off.

"My head...," Darlene moaned, her head was still sore from when she fell of Minerva's bed.

"Momma, where are we going?" Minerva called from the backseat.

Darlene froze. She was expecting Minerva to ask, but what would she tell her?

"Minnie, we're, uh, we're-" Darlene started, but Draco cut her off.

"We're going to visit the doctors," Draco said, calmly.

Darlene, wide-eyed, decided it would be the perfect moment to slap Draco.

"Why would you tell her that?!" Darlene whispered so only Draco could hear her.

"She needs to know the truth," Draco said simply.

The rest of the night was very pleasent, Minnie's checkup turned out good and everyone was happy.
