Summary: A small drabble of Tom Sawyer reflecting on his loss of his father-like figure (not exactly 100 words though but close enough.
Author's Note: I just saw the movie a few days ago for the first time and it was great. This is also one of my first LXG fics.
He was gone.
Allan Quatermain was gone.
The man who looked after me on this adventure is gone.
I can't believe it.
"Take your time," he told me.
I did.
I got M right then and there with the gun.
I turned around to tell him the good news but it already was too late.
I never had a real father but during the short time we were together Allan Quatermain taught me more than I think any father could possibly teach in a lifetime.
He will always have a place in my heart and I'll always remember the good he did.
He was my true father.
