Sweet dreams are made of this...

Aster sighed, what were dreams anyways? Tickets to a place he'll never reach.

who am I to disagree?

Oh, he disagreed alright.

I travel the world and the seven seas...

True...

everybodies...

lookin' for somethin'...

His hands clenched his coat's sleeves.

some of them want to use you...

He let out a bitter laugh.

How many times had THAT happened?

some of them want to be used by you...

some of them want to abuse you...

Another bitter laugh.

some of them want to be abused by you...-

"I never thought you'd be into this."

Aster groaned as he opened one eye. He looked up and saw Jaden and Jesse sitting next to him.

And just when he was about to-

"What's that?" Jesse asked, pointing to something.

"Nothing." Aster said quickly.

He reached over, and tried to grab it, but Jesse grabbed it first.

"Doesn't look like nothing..."

He opened the box and his eyes widened.

He pulled out an exacto knife, with dry blood on the tip.

"A-Aster?!" Jaden gasped.

He and Jesse stared in shock at the silver haired male.

"I told you, it's nothing!" Aster snapped and reached for the blade.

Jaden caught his wrist and pulled back the sleeve.

There, on his left arm, were hundred upon hundreds of scars.

"Aster..." Jesse said, "why didn't you tell us?"

"I told you, it's nothing!" Aster repeated.

"We're your friends! You can tell us anything!" Jaden said and held the younger boy in his arms.

Aster glared at the two.

An intense stare off was in the midst of it all.

"Aster...please..." Jaden whispered.

Aster blinked, not realizing tears were forming in his eyes.

"Tell us..." Jesse added.

He put his hand close to Jaden's.

And that's when the damn broke.

Aster let out a sob, that turned into a cough, and that turned into full on hysterics.

Jaden and Jesse were shocked. They never seen the boy so...

so...

what's the word...

depressed?

Yeah, that's it.

Aster was always so calm. Cool. Collected.

He never cried.

At least, this hard.

"Aster?" Jaden whispered.

"Aster..." Jesse murmured.

The silver haired boy was trembling. "I...I..."

"It's okay...just tell us."

"I...I just..."

Jaden squeezed his hand, "What?"

"I...I just...I just want...I just want it to end!"

Jesse looked at him, "You want what to end?"

"Everything!"

Jaden narrowed his eyes, "So...you wanted to end your life?"

Aster shuddered.

Jesse frowned, "You can always come to us Ast."

Aster let out a silent sob as Jesse and Jaden wrapped their arms around him.

"We'll be here for you."

"Always."

Aster sighed. "I love you."

"We know..." Jesse whispered into his ear.

"We love you, too." Jaden added.

Whoever walked up to them, only saw three boys in an embrace, one with tears streaking his cheeks and the other two comforting him as well as they could.
