I DO NOT OWN ANYONE FROM SILENT HILL, THEY ALL BELONG TO TEAM SILENT! EXPECT IRIS HARDISON WHO IS MY OC! This is my first fanfiction I have ever written, any advice would be amazing c: THANK YOU Now on with the story!
James stood in silence, gawking the woman in the ill-lighted hallway before him. Her dark hair glistening softly as his flashlights rays caressed it gently. The way she curved, her small lips frowning slightly as he stared at her, her deep brown eyes that held a deep resentment of some sort that only the past could explain. James didn't know how long he stared at her, not noticing the tan young woman desperately trying to observe the strange person that was shinning the bright light on her. Realizing this to be impossible as for their flashlight wasn't illuminating enough to reveal the persons form. "E-Excuse me?" The young woman asked cautiously, unsure if this person was a threat. James' mouth went dry, frantically thinking about how to respond.
"I'm sorry."
He apologized, biting his lower lip. Aiming the light away from her in a clumsy hastily fashion. They both stood awkwardly in each others presence, not knowing what to say to the other. James decided to start off first.
"I'm James. "
he paused for a minute unsure if he should ask her if she has seen Mary. He snapped at himself clenching his jaw.
'Mary's your wife! You should be searching for her, not focusing on this mysterious female!'
"Have you seen my wife? Her name was Mary."
James felt stupid like he was driving this beautiful nameless woman away. The maturing woman tilted her head slightly confused by the way he worded his sentence.
"What do you mean by 'was'?"
"She.. She died three years ago."
"Oh?"
She replied, looking down at her feet, baffled by his response.
'What does he mean she died three years ago?' Looking back up at the man she observed his features. 'His hair looks so fluffy, and the color of his eyes. They're so. Tender.'
"Do you have a name?"
The question snapping her from her thoughts.
Feeling a small hint of guilt in her stomach for being rude to this so far well mannered man.
"My names Iris, Iris Hardison."
James felt a tiny smile forming on his face. He hasn't had a true smile for so long the expression was foreign to him. 'Dammit James! You got to find Mary! She's your wife, your number one priority!'
"Are you ok James?"
"Wha. I-I'm fine."
Iris gave him an uncertain look rapidly shifting to a comforting smile.
'He's kind of strange, keeps drifting off into his on thoughts. Maybe it's because of his wife? I think he said her name was Mary?'
Iris realized she better start looking for Stanley again, 'What if he's hurt? Dying? Bleeding to death! An-and he's all alone!' Panic took over her features
"Im sorry but gotta go, I have to find my uncle!"
She briskly whispered.
James watched Iris run off into the gloomy hallway.
'Whats this strange feeling in the pit of my stomach? It makes me feel so warm and fuzzy inside, I can't possible be attracted to Iris like that! I love.. Mary. Do I really love Mary?"
hmm that could've gone ALOT better don't you think? Review if you liked it and want another chapter c: thank you for reading!
