What Would Our Parents Think
Percy Jackson was sitting on a dock overlooking the lake at Camp Half-blood when Annabeth walked up.
"Hey Seaweed brain," she said.
"Hey wise girl," he said back.
"Whatcha doin," She asked.
"Just thinking," He replied.
"About what," She asked.
"Just stuff," He answered.
He scooted over and Annabeth sat down next to him. "Have you ever wondered what our parents would say about us being together," He asked.
"Well, no," Annabeth replied, "But no matter what our parents say or do, I'll always stay with you," She continued.
Percy smiled and said, "I'll always stay with you too." With that, he leaned and kissed her.
She leaned in too, and kissed him.
The could have stayed that way until they died but as you know, all living things need air, even demi-gods so they broke apart and took in some air.
There were feeling tired so they lied down next to each other and closed their eyes for a few minutes. Before they knew it, they fell asleep right there and slept the whole night through.
The next morning when Annabeth awoke, she could feel Percy stirring next to her.
She yawned, "Percy…" She moaned, "How long were we asleep?"
"I don't know," He mumbled, "A few hours, maybe?"
Annabeth opened her eyes and saw the sun rising. Suddenly, she was wide awake, "Percy!" She gasped, "We spent the whole night here."
"What!" He said, awake now too.
"We slept here the whole night," She repeated.
"Uh-Oh" Percy said.
Annabeth leapt up, "We have to hurry and get back to camp!"
Percy got up and grabbed her hand and together they raced back to Camp Half-blood.
