So I had this funny idea, what if my warden had a wikipedia article? So I decided to write about my recent Cousland and make his story sound like it is being told by a historian. So far I have written about his introduction and early life.Might sound weird but tell me what you think. Dragon Age belongs to Bioware
Aedan Cousland (9:10 - 9:67 Dragon Age) was the King of Fereldan from 9:35 to 9:67 Dragon Age. He also ruled over the Terynir of Gwaren after the fifth Blight. Known for being an inventor, artist and military strategist. His renowned victories against the Qunari earned him the name, Aedan the Marteler. He was the second husband of Queen Anora until her death in 9:35, crowning himself her heir and starting the Cousland dynasty. He would later marry his chancellor and long time lover, Leliana. Leliana gave birth to his heirs Adrian and Elyse Cousland.
Youth and Early Life
Aedan was the youngest son of Bryce and Eleanor Cousland. Growing up he was sheltered and rarely did he leave Highever, other then for Landsmeets. Not much is known about his early education, other then he looked up to his brother, Fergus Cousland and often credited him in his early successes. Early writings suggest Bryce Cousland let Aedan find his own way, allowing the young noble freedom that led him to be a nuisance among the guard. Reports of the time suggest Aedan was a bit of a womanizer spending time in brothels and rarely was he by himself.
It is believed Aedan held his first sword as early as the age of 4, studying as a squire under his father. By the age of 13 he was already developing his own fighting style. At the age of 16 he bested his brother in his first tourney, winning honors. Aedan often compared his swordsmanship to sex for amusement. "Using a sword is like sex. It's all a matter of balance, leverage and timing." was a famous quote he made when a squire asked him for advice.
