Summary : Before he completely vanishes from this world, Ricardo gets a visit from his long gone uncle, who holds onto him until his last breath.

The child's shivering continues, thanks to the temperature dropping with each minute. There was nothing that could keep him warm, except for the cloak his uncle was wearing. Even that was not enough to prevent the boy from suffering. In a small wooden house, two Italians lie on the floor as the snow storm grows more fierce. Everything feels so cold, from the floor to the young boy's clothes and jet black hair. He is unable to warm up his beloved and last living relative, but continues to cover him with his cloak as he cuddles him from behind.

He watches as that fragile and sweet sweet boy slowly stops moving, and eventually he is completely still. It's freezing outside, causing it to be too cold inside for the poor young boy. Well, to tell you the truth, this child had already died earlier, but before he has completely left his body to crossover to the world where his parents await him, in the form of his past self he is brought to this house and is comforted by Giotto.

It's hard to explain the situation, all that can be said is that Giotto, deceased for about five years before his nephew, visits his soul that is granted this death so that he can be with him again. Once he returns to the other world, he will meet a healthier version of him in adult form, around the age of twenty-eight, just as he was when he died. A child he was turned into, only because when souls are given unexpected deaths, their true selves resurface, and much to Giotto's joy, he gets to see his nephew looking like this again.

Although he may seem violent and cold-hearted, in reality, he is nothing more than a lonely child that has been buried in fear and sadness. He wished he could of prevented that from happening to Ricardo, the new Vongola boss, but as one must understand : no one can get, what they truly want.

After a short period of time, everything around Giotto changes into millions of white butterflies all heading towards the sky. It's time to take him to a better place, where no gun will be pointed at him, or capable of killing him like one has just done. "It's okay Ricardo, there's no need to feel lonely anymore." Giotto says, before he too turns into beautiful butterflies that follow the younger one up into the heavens.

Even if you feel that you don't need anyone, you still do, even when you die.
