My first RPM fic! Woots. Originally written in Korean, but translated.

I didn't think to translate this fic, but I figured, since I created a new account, might as well as utilize it. Also, writing for school is not very fun and I needed a diversion.

Note: I don't own RPM or PR. Are you kidding me? If I did, I would make it much more ho-yay feeling. Actually, screw it, Diggy would have been cannon.

Note 2: Could be read as Diggy. Actually wrote it as intended Diggy fic, but I realized after translating it, it sounds more like a friendship fic.

"The Compliment"

There was an unfamiliar silence in the room.

This was, after all, middle of the night; there was nothing strange about this. The day was spent on defending Corinth from Venjix bots. Ziggy must have been tired, since he wasn't was used to fighting. Defending the last city of the last humans may have not been fit for the slim lad.

Dillon was sleepless. He usually didn't need to sleep, much; he was only half-human, anyway.

The usually bright and chatty Ziggy was not present – he normally couldn't be shut up, but now it was sort of awkward. Dillon only knew of Ziggy's presence through sound of the boy's breathing.

Was Ziggy asleep?

No. Ziggy always snored a little when he slept. Dillon didn't mind, because he thoughtof it rather fondly.

"Can't sleep?" Dillon asked, softly.

"…Hm. How did you know?"

Ziggy peeked out from under the blanket. Through his messy (well, no one culd actually tell – Ziggy's hair was always curly – that was an immutable fact of life) hair, Dillon could see Ziggy's eyes. Ziggy scratched his head, a little embarrassed.

"Just 'cause." …cause I couldn't hear your sound.

"…You fought well today." Dillon whispered softly, in a low voice.

"-Huh?"

"You fought well." Dillon said it to Ziggy again, confidently, but still in a low voice.

For a moment, silence took over. Suddenly, Ziggy got up from his bed. His face held a glowing smile.

"Thank you!"

ZIggy was sincerely happy. He was always thankful of Dillon who first really trusted him and supported him. Dillon also appreciated Ziggy, who was happy even at the smallest of the compliments.

Ziggy hugged Dillon tightly with his thin arms. The heat was transferred from one soul to another.

It was always hard, just to survive, but they felt safe knowing that they weren't alone and they could always depend on one another.

Together like this, again tomorrow.

The unspoken promise. They fell asleep sharing each other's temperature.

Um, yeah. Hoped you liked it. Although it's not very long. Thanks for reading.

I love reviews, too ^^
