Chapter 9
I woke up curled on the floor of the white room.
"Kaisia," He said, shaking my shoulder slightly. My hands weren't cuffed anymore, and my hands were clenched over my ears.
"Kaisia, are you alright?" He said, rushed.
My eyes fluttered open, he was crouched over me. I shot up off the floor and hugged him.
"Doctor! I'm glad you're okay." I said, wrapping my arms around his neck.
"I thought I was Dr. Sassy." He said, half laughing, half relieved. I laughed, about as relieved as he was.
"We need to get out of here." He helped me up off the floor. We ran out the open door. Salt shakers sparked and potatoes ran after us. My head throbbed, and I could barely stand. We ran down stairs and through hallways until the blue box came into sight. He opened the door and we ran inside. He pulled levers and pushed buttons, and the blue box made a low, rumble, followed by a metallic siren noise.
I stopped as he pushed buttons and things. I was shocked. I looked around, the whole place it was… It was…
"Bigger on the inside," he said, leaning against the giant control panel that sat in the middle of the room. He had this look on his face that said everything he didn't say. It was a mix of a child claiming fantastic art work as his, and a look of relief. I walked towards the control panel.
"Yeah, that…" I said, still dazed.
"But, how?" I said, starting around the place. I sat on one of the chairs that were placed by the control panel. So many questions fluttered around my head. The burning was still there, and it still hurt like a sonofabitch.
"I have.. Sooo. Many. Questions." I said, rubbing my temples. I shut my eyes and tried to will away the burning.
"Ask away," he said. "I promised you I'd explain everything later. " He said, I couldn't see him smiling, but I heard it in his tone of voice.
"1. What the hell happened?" He laughed at my question. I opened my eyes and looked up at him.
"Well," he began.
"Inside your head is a little chip that feeds energy to the one at the core of the universe. That chip at the core basically holds the whole universe together. Your father, Benjamin Reeds, was a fantastic man." I could hear a bit of sadness behind his voice.
"He was my companion for awhile. He found a way to duplicate a TARDIS, went back to before the universe was made, and placed that chip out into space. It attracted life forms and organisms, rocks, you name it. It formed and made the universe. Basically, your father created the universe." I nodded along with his information. He spoke quickly.
"Well, that chip needs a life source to feed off of, you were a mere baby at the time when he wired your brain with the chip that feeds life to the center of the universe. So, basically," He walked over to me and turned my head to look at the left side of my head, where I had a scar I didn't know where from. My mom said I had hit my head as a child.
"You're the universe."
