Kutner is gone. Sigh.
I almost cried during that episode, but I didn't because I was watching it with one of my best friends and we had been laughing too hard beforehand. xD
Enjoy.
Disclaimer: I totally own House. Look over there, a flying pig in a frozen version of hell!
He knew him.
From every weekday and some weekends from the time he arrived at work and the time he left, he saw him.
He never noticed anything wrong.
Should he have expected something after noticing Kutner had added an extra half spoonful of sugar to his daily coffee?
Should he have known something was wrong because Kutner had been wearing a new, expensive watch?
He didn't. No one did.
They were small, ordinary details that weren't even clues at all.
But those are the kind of clues House observes. They are the kind of clues that allow him to make assumptions ultimately resulting in correct diagnoses of patients, usually saving lives.
But he didn't think anything of them.
He can't bring himself to think that anyone would've done the same, because he isn't just anyone.
Now, he can't help but wonder:
"Am I losing it?"
