Chapter 10
I stared at him for a moment, was he insane? Or was I? Did I just dream all this up? Will I wake up tomorrow only to find out this was a sick dream?
"It's a lot to take in," he said. He walked back over to the control panel.
"So, did I answer all your questions?"
"All except for one," I said.
"Hm?"
"How do I pass Chemistry?"
He laughed. "Sorry, I think that's one I can't help with." I smiled. I stood up and walked over to the control panel. My head slowly stopped burning.

"So, this thing, travels time?"
"Yep, go take a look." He pointed to the door.
"But, aren't we…?"
"I'll go with you." He walked over to the door, and leaned a hand against it, swinging it open. A cool breeze filled the room. I walked towards the door and leaned out. I remember where we were. I stepped out into the cool November night. The cold gravel bit into my feet.
The place I tried to kill myself at. The same road, the place was empty, considering the fact it was late at night on a residential street. I suddenly realized that my mom must be worried shit-less. I turned to face him, suddenly worried about what my mom would say when I got there. How could I explain any of this?
"Go check up on your mom," he said, as if he could read my mind. I ran towards my house.
