All Around Me
Benjamin sat neatly on the park bench, waiting for his bus to arrive. The twenty-eight year old was paranoid, some people thought for no reason at all, that he was just born with high anxiety. Other people believe he is on drugs and needs to go to meetings to stop his addiction. And most other people don't notice him.
Ben just needed a partner, someone to cool him down when he is having his freak attacks, a person who can deal with him correcting them all the time. A person who loves him for who he is, and not because he has a good job that pays him a good amount of money. Somebody who can care for him, and most of all, someone who can start a family with him. He really just needed somebody with him. Somebody who can keep him company, because all of his paranoia comes from being alone for so long.
Eleven years without a family, he had always been cared for and loved because he was an only child. He didn't want to leave his mom and dad, they begged him to stay, but they got in a car crash. He just had to move away, away from California, and into Oregon. So he didn't have to see the house he once lived in, so he didn't have to pass the place his parents had died. He looked up at the now stopped bus in front of him, picking up a few cents in his pocket, he walked up the very few steps the bus had, and put the change in the box, moving away and sitting down.
It had been a warm day, with a cold morning, so now his jacket was tied around his small waist. Again, if he did find anyone, he had to make sure that they didn't care if he had muscles or not, because he was as skinny as a twig. His body was tall, reaching the heights of 6'2". Benjamin sat down, moving his shoulders to get comfortable in his seat. There looked like nice people on the bus, men in suits on phones, it wasn't quiet, but that's what he liked about this bus, lots of busy people making noise. Usually when it was quiet, he started to freak out silently, moving around, hands twitching, and eyes going wild. He wasn't on drugs, but he was just used to noises, evening his house, he keeps his Television on all the time, even when he goes to sleep, he needs his Television on.
