Humans keep walking onward in order to continue living.

All their steps went awry.

Every. Single. One.

It always aggravated Hikaru the most- he needed the support, really, because he wasn't Superman and he was going to break- because he was the older one. He felt the need to make sure that their step was correct.

For Kaoru.

See, when they were innocent little children, their hearts had been broken twice and over.

(The woman knew that their hearts would grow back again, and they would get trampled once more.
Well, not that she even cared in the first place.
She'd only been there for the money, after all.)

And not too long after, the woman was gone.

(Replaced by emptiness and longing and love for somebody or something nobody never, ever knew.)

And hopefully, she would be gone from their memories.

(As if forgetting was that easy.)

When Tamaki first met his grandmother, he could only think of how frightening she was.

She was graceful (very much so), but in that scary, provocative way of ordering somebody what to do, as if ordering a dog or a pet.

She would glare at him in that mean way and reprimand his every step, as if telling him "You're worthless".

But he smiled and laughed and walked forward.

He smiled and took every step, because that was all he could do.

(Run away, run away, from this world that's stuck at one place.)

But they can't run away.

Because- after all, they're just people.

They're just humans.

(The flowers bloom and fall in that place we call 'paradise'.)

It's so ironic, isn't it?

"Stupid tono." The two twins say at the say time with an evil glint in their eyes.

"Devious twins." Tamaki calls the twins with mock-fire spewing out of his mouth with fiery eyes and mock-anger.

(When they met, they found themselves intrigued about each other.
Sort of like magnets-
but a bit stronger, like fate.
Or maybe it's just the power of love.
Maybe.)

Who said they weren't good to be paired up together?

Because obviously, the person wasn't thinking.

"Tono," Hikaru asked Tamaki on one particular day while both were in the dressing room to change, "do you love Haruhi?"

"...Of course I love my daughter! ...Why?"

"Do you love... me?"

"Of course, Hikaru!"

Confounded, Hikaru could only stare at him.

Then, as a growing smile captured his face, he grabbed Tamaki's face and kissed him, full on his mouth.

Because Hikaru finally took a step forward.

"Kyouya-senpai, should we should interrupt their little... union?" Kaoru asked, smiling softly knowing that his twin was completely happy that moment.

"No. We have our own things to do." Kyouya said (a bit seductively, Kaoru thought, but it must have been his imagination. Right? Because there was no way that the low blood-pressure lord would be... seductive.).

"Um... Okay?" Kaoru said skeptically with an eyebrow raised.

"Because, Kaoru, we have a whole room to ourselves while Hikaru and Tamaki makes out in the small room in the corner, we have the entire room to ourselves. Now then, how shall we pass the time?"

"Eh?" Eyes widened in realization.

(Realize. Blush. Make out.
Who knew these were so fun?)
