PLAY PRETEND
I missed the days we laughed and joked,
Ran to hide,
And played pretend,
I miss the days that we were friends,
When we were close,
And always had each others back.
then middle school came,
and everything changed,
we were no longer mixed,
we were tore apart,
no longer connected at the heart,
as sisters or as friends.
New crowds.
New life.
New you.
I miss the days when life was simple,
And we could just play pretend.
