Emily and their newest DNA lab tech, Erin, were sitting in the break room reviewing evidence. Across from them was the interrogation room where a man was sitting on the couch outside waiting for Brass to finish interrogating his girlfriend. He was fat and thug-like and scary looking.
"Oh my god that guy looks like a bulldog." Emily whispered.
"oohhhh you liiikeee him." Erin whispered back.
"Eww! No I don't!"
"Liar! I'm gonna go find out if he's available." And with that Erin walked out approaching the man.
"Hi!" she said. He just grunted in response to her cheerful greeting.
"My friend over there," she said pointing to Emily.
"Wants to know if you are single."
"What?" the man roared. "That is Harassment!" He shoved Erin out of the way and stormed over to the break room and pushed Emily very hard.
Brass, who had ran out to see what the problem was, snagged Erin and said, "Erin, what the hell? This man is a suspect!"
"Oops," She turned bright red.
"I didn't know that. Maybe if I worked in the field I might have known better."
"Well this is the exact reason why you're not!" Brass said sternly.
"Although it was an accident, so I won't tell Eclkie. But please, Erin, don't let it happen again."
Nick, hearing the commotion, grabbed the man away from Emily, who was greatly shaken up by the ordeal. He wrestled the man out and over to the cops.
"Are you ok, Em?"
"Yea, I'm fine," she said and started cracking up. "That was hysterical."
Nick looked dumbfounded.
Erin walked over and said, "Shit Emily, I'm really sorry."
"It's ok. That was funny, the guy was as red as a tomato. I didn't even listen to what he said," they both started laughing really hard, and when they had finally calmed down, one glance would send them back into hysterics.
"I don't get it," Brass stated.
"Well, they are girls," Nick said. "I grew up with sisters, they have a weird mind," which earned him a death glare from the two females.
End.
