Author's Note: This is a song that was meant to go with a fanfiction I just published under the title. You don't have to read the story to understand this. If anyone wants to use it for anything, that's fine, just pm or review me first or I will not be happy.
I actually had a desire to put it up on youtube, but I don't have a band and can't play an instrument, so that was out. I'm not even sure if its anygood, so I would really like your opinion! I've never written a song before. With that being said...PLease tell me what you think of my FIRST EVER song. Please review! If you like it, I might write another one.

I Was an Idiot; He Was a hero
I was just a boy
I didn't know anything
About anything
Why did this idiot have to be,
the boy who lived?
Oh why of why can't they know me?
Why oh why can't they just see
That the hero,
The real hero,
Is anyone but me? (said quickly)
They call me the chosen one (said slowly)
The boy who lived
But what they really don't get
What they really don't see
Is that the hero,
Yeah the hero,
Wasn't ever me.
Why oh why can't they just see
That the hero,
The real hero,
really isn't me?
I'm just the idiot that got thrown into this messed up game of chess
Why oh why can't they just see
That the hero,
Yeah the hero,
Isn't really me?
I ran into trouble
Didn't ask for help
I had to do everything by myself
Of course it never worked that way
I was the idiot who never saw that I couldn't anything on my own
There was a man who really did see
What the others didn't
That I was an idiot
He was the hero
He risked his life for me
He risked his life for his reason for everything
So that the boy who lived could live to be the idiot who lived to realize that the hero
Was anyone but him
Of course he knew
I didn't know anything
I could barely utter a word
When I saw the Darks lord's face
I was truly a disgrace
Until I resolved that I couldn't run
That my death had just begun
But of course luck had its way
So now I'm here say
That I was an idiot
He was a hero
The hero was him- not me
While I ran
He stood his ground
He hid his a grimace beneath his frown
As he watched evil do its work
And help good do its job at the same time
Now don't you see
that when things got grim
That heroreally was always him
He lived undercover
He took years of torture
To rectify his mistakes
So that the course that he would take would honor his reason for living
All though he would probably say
That the hero,
yeah the hero,
Was anyone but him
Of course he'd deny the truth
But the hero is reallya sallow skinned
professor with long greasy hair
-a Slytherin
It's true he's made mistakes
I've heard it all before
But what he did for lilly,
What he did for me,
What he did for us,
Makes him the hero for sure
Author's note#2: Wrock is my inspiration. I had no idea what I was doing when I wrote this, but I hope it sounds good to you. Please review! Ooh, that rhymed!
