INTRO

Poor Caitlin was having a very, very bad week…

She crushed on so many guys, called them each "The one" only to end up being dumped every time. To make matters worse, sometime she caught sight of the guys and I on dates with our loves.

Amelie and I sharing an ice-cream shake together…

Wyatt and Serena walking with their hands stuffed into each other's back pants pockets…

Jude and Starr skating together…

And even Jonesy and Nikki, happily married, and making out softly at the Khaki-Barn.

Caitlin could feel her jealousy and hate of being alone getting to her.

The rest of the gang and I were on our way to the lemon, and Jen looked a little tired. "Let me guess… it's time for the Penalty Box's annual ladies wrestling exhibition?"

Jen groaned, "Uhn… don't remind me! Coach had me pulling doubles all week and a dose of overtime to prepare for it. It's his favorite event of the year, and he says it gets way more customers."

"Can you blame him?" I said. "What guy wouldn't want to see a bunch of lady-wrestlers go at each other? Eh… not that… I'm one of them."

Jonesy, Wyatt, and Jude told me to come with them. "It's great fun, man..." said Wyatt "And don't worry, if your girlfriend sees you she'll understand. They all do."

"Well… if you're sure." I said.

"Dude… I'm not asking you, I'm telling you! You gotta come with us!" Jonesy encouraged me.

Nikki sighed, "Typical guys…" but then Jonesy pecked her on the head. "But I'm still your guy."

His wife smiled.

We made it to the lemon; Caitlin didn't even take notice of us. She just worked away with a sour look on her face, and didn't even bother to notice that her long hair was all ruffled and tangled from frustration.

"Hey, Cait…" Wyatt said, but Caitlin hadn't even noticed. "Whoa! Gettin' bad vibes here…" said Jude.

"Is everything okay…?" Jen asked.

Caitlin turned, "Sorry, I was miles away. Alone again… as usual." she said. Then all was quiet again. "You going to tell us what's wrong or should we hire a private-detective?" asked Nikki.

Just then, Caitlin's phone rang. She held it to her chest begging. "Please, oh, please, oh please…!"

It was another guy, and he was calling to cancel their date because he had other plans more important. Caitlin acted like she understood, but felt the guy just didn't like her. She hung up the phone, slammed down on the lemon, knocking me out of my stool. "OOF…!" and the lemon shook vigorously as Caitlin let out her trademark scream, at the same time… a large boom of lightning and thunder crashed outside as a storm hit.

None of us said a thing, but we realized what Caitlin was upset with now.
