At the home of Ron and Hermione Weasley, it was late. Their children Rose and Hugo were in their separate bedrooms. They should have been sleeping but being the 9 and 7 year olds they were, they were playing in their rooms. Hermione currently wasn't home because she was being held up at work. Ron was cleaning the house because he knew Hermione was always really tired after work.
He levitated a laundry basket into his and Hermione's bedroom. He finally finished and lay down on their queen sized bed. He looked around his now clean room. He looked at each corner bottom to top. He stopped and sat up quickly. He walked slowly to the corner to the left of the door.
"AHHHHHHHHH!" Ron's screams echoed throughout the house. Rose and Hugo met in the hall way and ran to their parents room.
"What's wrong dad?" Rose asked in concern. "Dad?" She looked and saw Ron with his knees drawn to his chest rocking back and forth.
"Dad what happened?" Hugo asked wondering.
"I don't want to tap dance." Ron said in response. Ron repeated the phrase a few more times before going silent. Hugo looked up at his older sister.
"Dad point to what wants you to dance." Rose said calmly even though she knew she sounded stupid.
Ron pointed to the corner across from him. "I don't want to dance." Ron said.
"You must be kidding." Rose said looking at the corner. There was a spider the size of Ron's hand. Rose went over to the corner and let the spider crawl onto her shoulders. Rose pretended to squash the spider before leaving the room.
"Dad, the spider is gone." Hugo said.
"No tap dancing?" Ron asked stupidly
"No"
Ron cleared his throat. "Um well then okay. This never gets to anyone, got it." Ron said with his face turning red.
"I don't know dad, mom can be pretty persuasive."
"What do you want?" Ron sighed.
"5 galleons for me and 5 for Rose" Hugo said.
"Fine." Ron said reading into his wallet.
"Pleasure doing business." Hugo said leaving
"So?" Rose asked from Hugo's bed as he walked in.
"I got 5 for you and 5 for me." Hugo said giving Rose her cut.
"We've got to thank Uncle George." Rose said smiling.
"Aquita you are such a good girl." Hugo said to the spider.
"I say we give it another go next month." Rose said as she petted the spider.
"I agree." Hugo said smiling.
"We'd better get to bed before mom gets here." She said setting the spider down.
"Goodnight Rose, goodnight Aquita." Hugo said
"Goodnight Hugo, goodnight Aquita." Rose said.
"Goodnight you two." The spider said before disappearing through the window.
