M looked over Tanner and though was she looking as tired as her Chief of Staff. In MI6's Q-branch the satellite pictures from Brasilia informed them that one of their agents was somewhere middle of the jungle. They have waited the news like the rising moon last three days and now it seemed that all the efforts would go south.

"Do we have any backups to him?" She asked but Tanner, going through the list just shook his head.

"The nearest is in Venezuela. Not good. I think we have to ask…"

"No Americans, not in this case." M denied the idea altogether. They both knew pretty well that if CSI got the list, it would be even worse. Tanner's face went even harder and he looked up watching the satellite picture of Brasilia. Then he blinked and was back to his notebook.

"I think… No, the Russians are still mad to him about the last time."

M closed her eyes, she was still covering that incident. She waited when Tanner went working again until his face suddenly melted bit and he opened the channel calling the agent.

"Bond?"

"Still here." There was some static disruptionand the double-o agent sound tired. "Tell that you have some good news."

Tanner smiled a bit. "Maybe. How long you think it'll take you to get in Rio?"

"Two days." Was almost immediate response.

"Two days.. Two days… Maybe…" Tanner muttered himself his fingers moving over the console until there was another map and another red point blinking to them from middle of sea.

"He may get there in time. I don't know… I'm not sure… It depends…"

M frowned when Tanner opened the weather report from Atlantic Ocean.

"What? Who…" Bond asked sounding now bit angrier and Tanner looked that he made his decision when he interrupted Bond.

"Look. You have three days. Get in the harbour. Look out bar called O'Malley."

"Really? I think that the owner still remember me." Bond chuckled and Tanner grinned. Right, of course Bond knew the place already.

"Just do it. He finds you from there."

"And who is that? How I…"

"He knows you. Just don't…"

The line went dead.

M looked curiously at Tanner.

"Who are you sending there to collect him?"

Tanner looked suddenly very nervous, avoiding his boss's stare, pushing the control panel's buttons to create new satellite connection.

"Well. Do you know that Hunt owns very nice boat? And that he's in holiday before…"

M blinked with surprise. "So, you decided to send our upcoming new Q-branch's head to retrieve Bond?"

Tanner hesitated, but only for second before he made the call.

"Yes ma'am."

"Very well then. I bloody want that list." She turned to leave but hesitate. "You wanted to warn him about something."

"Yes."

"What for?"

Now Tanner looked right to her. "That he does not underestimate him."

M smiled. "Oh, that'll do good to him."

"Either one?" Tanner asked casually.

"Maybe both."
