Once upon a time, a lovely young sorceress planted a batch of flowers on a hill, hoping to grow them for spellwork. On the morning of the first of May, a
drop of sunlight dropped from above, infusing the flower. That evening, a drop of moonlight infused a flower on the other side of the patch. The enterprising
sorceress found the sun-flower, and used it's powers to stay young, forever. In her focus, she never saw the moonflower, growing only a few feet away.
Several centuries later, two princesses played in the land of Corona. As they were running through the fields, they came across the patch of flowers.
Primrose and Annabella played for hours in that patch, never once happening across the flowers, the flowers that would play an integral part in their destinies.
A decade later, and the sisters had parted. Annabella now lived two hours away, in the Kingdom of Arandelle. Primrose had married, and became the Queen
of Corona, however, the two still kept in touch. When Annabella learned of her pregnancy, she immediately informed Primrose. During the course of their
correspondence, Primrose discovered that her sister was suffering from horrid morning sickness. Queen Primrose immediately dispatched the castle healer to
find a cure for Annabella. The castle healer was one of the best in the land, having been employed by the royal family for as long as they could remember. The
healer ran to the patch of flowers she had found the sun-flower in, years before, hoping to find another just like it. She happened to find the moonflower on the
other side of the patch, and, eager to please Queen Primrose, brought it immediately to her. The Queen sent it immediately to her sister, unaware of the effects
that it would have.
