Skye woke up early for the second time this summer vacation, not much past 7 - which by itself was a miracle. She took her surroundings in, a bit confused at not seeing four other poster beds until realization fell on her. Home. Right.

She reached out for her phone and whimpered at the clock because, honestly, no human should be awake before lunchtime on their days off of school. Even if it is a pretty much cool one.

The gryffindor girl yawned and stretched getting out from her sheets, making sure not to wake her guest sound asleep on the twin bed. She took a minute to appreciate the image, though, that was Jemma Simmons sleeping.

It always seemed to mesmerize her, really, how a girl - this girl in particular - could shake her entire world and turn her legs into pudding. Ever since they met in the train and up until now, six years later, Jemma was everything. Well, she thought years dropping hints, at least now she's my girl.

Patience, obviously, wasn't her best quality and she had to restrain herself from touching the sleeping ravenclaw. A shower would have to do. Maybe a slightly cold one.

"On your right side! I literally said that twice."

Jemma's voice came from the living room and a very confused, very damp-haired Skye stopped in her tracks trying to understand what exactly was going on until

"This is bloody ridic-YES! I told you that, Dora, you cannot get credit for this too!"

And then she burst out, laughing.

The blonde girl was clearly annoyed at the TV and even much more at her girlfriend who, apparently, found it all way too funny for her taste. She looked at Skye, brow furrowed and a slight blush on her cheeks.

"Well, now, Dora is just plain rude."

Skye still had a grin on her face when she sat beside her girl on the couch. She didn't have much chance to see it, but god did Jemma look cute when she was angry.

"Baby, she can't hear you. It's a muggle cartoon."

She kissed Simmon's cheek and mumbled a 'good morning' while the other girl's blush went from anger to embarrassment. Skye took her hand and intertwined their fingers leading her to the kitchen.

"Come, sweetheart, I'll bake us pancakes."
