The Billionaire Next Door

I do not own the Hunger Games

Prologue

He was the underprivileged son of one of the dead men in Panem.

She was the blue-blooded daughter of one of the richest men in Panem.

Though, the duo had more in common than anyone else could imagine.

When he was accused of a crime he didn't commit, he found himself serving a man of extreme wealth. With that extreme wealth came the glitz, glamour, but what he didn't expect was the pain. That's when he realized that they were people, too, but with a completely different decorum and lifestyle. Of course, he never had that thought in the beginning, must we remember.

When she was told that she must wed an unknown man, she found herself immediately wanting to get into the head of the dark butler. Though, with all of her attempts to squeeze herself into the man's mind, she was often shoved to the cold, hard ground. Later on, she learned of what he had to fight for and understood more about the lone service man. Yes, she did indeed understood the hardships he and other poverish people had to face—just nothing like what she had imagined.

How could two people from two vastly, extremely different backgrounds end up getting wedged into each others' thoughts? Was it even allowed? Would they get caught? How was this even possible?

Well, it certainly wasn't impossible; it was only a battle of power, supremacy, struggle, and of course, love. After all, it was Panem.

Now, our little tale starts off in Merchant Market, where the whole…ahem…accident takes place…

This is the shortest prelude I've ever created, that's a fact. All I know is that there were enough details to give away without spoiling the entire plot. That, and chapters won't be as short as this, because, this is just a little glimpse of what is going to happen.

The next chapter will start off with a bang. That's all I'm going to say for that.

Other than that, please review! Con-crit is always welcomed!
