Barry is sitting on a bar stool, sadly drinking himself into forgetting, after Vanessa dumped him.
"Hey, little dude." Shrek says after filling up Barry's drink for what he believes to be the umpteenth time. "You look a little gray, and black...and yellow. What happened?"
"I-I dun' wanna talk 'bout it," Barry said, slurring his words rampantly. The bee's wings were draped carelessly on his backside.
Shrek sighed, "I know it's none of my beesness, but I can't keep giving you drink after drink. Maybe we can talk it out?"
Barry only rolled his eyes. He didn't care what some big ugly green punk had to say. His antenna began drooping more, the drink slowly intoxicating him more and more.

After what seemed like an hour, Shrek finally called it quits. The sexy ogre looked behind him to where Barry had been sitting, only to see an empty bar stool. Shrek looked all around for the bee, hoping he didn't cause any trouble. Suddenly, through Shrek's loving ears, he heard the most beautiful sound in the world, Barry. His Barry was plastered and singing on stage. Shrek is the literal heart eyes emoji as he watches his Barry singing on the stage. He can see all of the passion and sorrow in his eyes as Barry sings passionately along to "Don't Stop Beelieving".

The words weren't right and the tune was completely off, but Shrek didn't care. The drunkards in the bar were booing and that made Barry sing even harder. Shrek could feel his kokoro go doki doki for barry-sempai. Soon, after Barry had successfully passed out on stage, Shrek drove him to his swamp.

Barry awakes a few hours later. He is confused at first, but then he sees the most beautiful creature his bee eyes had ever laid eyes on. "W-who are you?" Barry asks, unsure, but he also wants to know who his mysterious Prince Charming was.

"My name is Shrek," The sexy ogre said next to him. Barry said the name in his head, testing it out.

"Why am I here?" Barry asked, confused.

"I work at the bar over on the corner of Brown and 3rd St. You came in and got drunk. After a while, you passed out and I tried to drive you home, but ever time I asked you where you lived you just said Dairy Queen. So, I took you to my swamp and let you rest up a little," Shrek said passionately. Barry touched his head and instantly regretted it, a pain stung throughout his head and thorax instantly erupted.

Shrek watched with sadness as the bee winced in pain after touching his head. Shrek couldn't help but picture the bee's face when he got him in bed. With his thick ogre sausage slamming into his small frame repeatedly.

Shrek instantly focused on the window to the right of him, feeling shameful for thinking about such indecent thoughts. He just couldn't look into those literal sea blue eyes.

Barry was nursing his hangover and was thankful for the limited amount of lighting in the swamp.

Shrek realized what he was doing and handed Barry a bowl full of soup.

"T-this should help your head," Shrek replied.

Barry looks up at Shrek gratefully before eating some of the soup. "T-thank you desu~" Barry said softly, a blush gathering in his fuzzy cheeks.

Before the duo knew it, they were locking lips passionately. Barry's hangover had completely dissolved thanks to the soup. Shrek wanted the kiss and so did Barry. Shrek could feel his enormous wand hardening and Barry's stinger was twitching with excitement.

Shrek placed his hand gently on the bee's leg and rubbed soft circles. Barry broke the kiss and spoke softly, "Let's take things slow."

Shrek smiled and moved his hand, this could wait for another time.

"And that kids, is how I met your mother," Shrek said to his son and son-in-law, Olaf and Mike Wazowski
