This is my first fic. Hope you like it.
It was the first time Reyna ever felt true fear.
He stood tall with his head held high and the sun burning into his head. Hundreds of soldiers stared at their leader, he was tall, very tall but not the tallest, yet he towered over all of them with his red-brown hair and his glowing amber eyes glowing in a way making them seem more red. No one messed with the grandson of Mars, and son of Mania. No one irritates the commander of a hundred strong army. No one argues with a man more insane than the locked up psychopaths. Because when you do, the result usually leaves the person praying to the gods to be sent to the deepest pit of Tartures instead.
Today was an exception. The soldiers watched as Ash smirked as a man's head rolled down the steps to the soldiers. They were pitiless, the man was lucky he was cleanly killed. If the praetor of the American's wasn't staring at Ash with her black eyes the man would have received a faith much worse than death.
"I am sorry you had to witness that, but you are a soldier so this must be normal for you." Ash grinned as he wiped the blood of his sword "Sorry a commander." His eyes twinkled as he teased her, trying to evoke a reaction. Outwardly, Reyna was as calm and collected as always inwardly her insides were twisting, she was shaking.
"You have no" One of her soldiers, camp mates started to say. She raised her hand to shut him up. No need to get any of her soldiers shot by his archers.
"No apology is necessary. I was hoping if I can speak to the praetor." Reyna actually was praying to gods that he was here to control the monster in front of her.
If they didn't need help in the war against Gaea she would have never needed to make this trip. She heard rumors about the Roman camp in the north countries; they were more brutal because there were no gods to control the monsters up here.
"Follow me." He waved his hand dismissing all of the soldiers. Stretching his arms and just talking as if they have been friends all their lives with such a laid back ease. Reyna suppressed the urge to shiver as she thought of the man he just killed. This was going to be a long day.
No flames please. Criticism welcome, tell me if i should continue. Oh yeah and sorry about my spelling
