This just popped into my head and I just had to make it. Loki is my favorite wooo! Sadly I do not own the Avengers or MARVEL or whomever else created and copywrites Loki and company.
(Loki's point of view)
I felt Thor's presence as soon as he had arrived. 'I can't let him see me like this. I can't let him see how weak I have become.' Loki thought bitterly.
Before I could acknowledge his presence a familiar dark feeling started to suffocate me. It was Thanos, he found me like he had promised he would. I was terrified about what was going to happen.
'He, he's going to kill me!' Loki thought franticly. 'I need to get away. I need to hide but how? I-I'm too weak to teleport so I can't just leave.' Loki let out an inaudible shaky sigh.
'Thanos will never let me leave, at least until he gets what he wants. I tried, I tried so hard to fight the control he had over me.' Loki tried to fight back tears as he thought this.
'I almost broke free when Thor confronted me in Manhattan but then he was back in control and I stabbed Thor with my dagger.' Loki thought angrily.
'Thor never let me explain neither did the all-father. Mother tried to give me a chance to speak but was silenced herself by Odin.' Loki mused.
'I still had that Midgardian muzzle on and wasn't even given a trial to tell them my side of the invasion. To tell them about the void, about Thanos and what the Mad Titan did to me. What he forced me to do.' Loki raged in his head before letting out small whimper.
'I failed Thanos and now he is here on Asgard.' Loki thought worried.
'I still have my magic but it is not as strong as it could be. I was surprised Odin did not bind my magic when I was taken back to Asgard. I don't have much energy and tried the only spell I could think of, a spell to make me invisible.' At this thought he sighed again.
'So of course because of my rotten luck I misspoke one of the words and now I am a cat, a harmless little black cat.' Loki concluded in his head with an annoyed sigh as his brother almost crushed him in what he called a "hug".
(Thor's point of view)
I just arrived outside of Loki's cell and I noticed that something seemed to be off about my brother. He almost seemed frightened but that couldn't be true could it? The God of mischief and lies frightened? That absurd thought was gone from Thor's mind almost as quickly as it arrived.
'Loki is a trickster'. Thor thought.
'But my brother never shows any weakness.' He mused. I was going to leave since he didn't seem to acknowledge my presence even though I had called his name when I heard Loki let out a whimper.
I whirled around and saw my brother huddled into himself before tendrils of green magic started to swirl around him. He was muttering something and intricately moving his hands. Loki's voice caught but my brother continued the lengthy spell.
The guards started to open my brother's cell but by then it was already too late. The green light of magic was gone and in my brother's place was a cat.
"Brother! Where are you?" I cried moving into his cell and scooped the cat into my arms. The cat hissed at me as I gave it a hug and when I looked into the cat's green eyes I noticed how they were the exact same shade as Loki's.
"My dear brother, drop the illusion that makes you appear as though you are a cat." I ordered. I was truly surprised when Loki looked slightly sad and despondent. His ears and tail were drooping making him look slightly embarrassed if cat could look embarrassed.
I gasped softly as I understood. "You can't can you brother?" I asked, "You are stuck." Loki glowered in my arms and I chuckled. "Now father will know you can't cause any harm brother because of this." I stated thoughtfully. 'Loki will be safe. I will protect my little cat-brother until this can be rectified.'
