"I was lost for two years; I don't know how I survived… When Ashley found me, told me what was happening, I knew I had to stop it." ~Shepard

"Joker, we have a small ship trying to reach a secure line with you on the Normandy. Do you accept?" EDI's voice was digitally hollow, but in a way curious as to what it said. Jeff turned to the little holographic manifestation of his AI counterpart. He had an eyebrow quirked under his casual cap as he pressed buttons on the console. "Must you hound me every time something menial hap-" He had opened the message while talking, the voice he heard was unmistakable and an eerie silence came over the usually jovial Pilot.

"EDI, let the crew of this ship on board." said Joker in a steely voice. EDI of course had been ordered by the Illusive Man to spy on the crew, even if the crew had left the organization; she still had the capabilities to hear the message. "Yes Mr. Moreau,"

There was no mistaking, no misunderstanding, and no error. That had been Shepard's voice.

The Crew was confused when Joker announced another ship's crew was coming aboard, saying he wanted Shepard and the rest of the crew ready in the Combat Information Center. Garrus, Tali, Legion, Every member of Shepard's crew was here. It was strange that Joker would call such a meeting, strange that another crew was coming aboard, strange how silent EDI had been about the whole thing.

Garrus had brought his weapons, not that he ever left them anywhere. He had hidden Tali's shotgun on him too, in case something were to happen. Shepard and Jack had their pistols; Grunt had the same idea as Garrus. A general feeling of unease reached the party. All non combat staff had been told to go below deck, meaning something was going down.

The airlock opened with a hiss and Garrus' hand clamped down on the grip of his pistol, the entire team tensed, except Joker, who stood from his prized leather chair, Tali rushed to help the infirmed man. Joker liked Tali and greatly welcomed her help. The door was sliding opened, ever so slow, revealing three figures. A human, six feet tall in jet black armor wielding a sniper rifle, a female human, white and pink armor contrasted by a deep red assault rifle, and a large red armored krogan, shotgun in hand.

The black armored human stepped forward to shake hands with Joker, who smiled and did so. The rest of the crew eased up when the two shook hands. In a flash, the armored man had Shepard sighted. All weapons were drawn quickly, Garrus tossed Tali her shotgun and Joker fell to the ground.

"Wait! No one shoot yet!" He called from the floor. EDI joined in the calming; "I concur, Garrus and Tali would not like to execute their old commander." spoke the synthetic voice from the pilot's seat. At this moment, Ashley Williams took off her helmet, along with Wrex the Krogan. Garrus gaped, Tali, Joker frowned, as Commander Alex Shepard took off his helmet. "I see you got some new scars too Garrus." He said as his helmet clattered to the floor.

Garrus' gun shot up, arcing it at everyone in the room. "What's going on here? All of you!" Tali seemed equally as stunned as her mortified expression clearly showed. "But you- you… saw my face." She whispered to herself as the shotgun shook in her hands.

Mordin glanced at Shepard, the real Shepard, and said sternly. "I require an explanation." Ashley Williams raised her gun at the fake Shepard. "Cerberus lied to you… all of you, he's a clone." It hadn't been the best run-down, but it would have to do, because than bullet's started flying.
