Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: The Adventures of Jojo Kujo.
Chapter 1: The Imaginary Friend?! King's Sword!
"Thank you for coming, Mrs. Kujo," The principal said as a woman with blond hair and sea green eyes put her arm around a little boy with messy black hair and nice blue eyes, almost deep blue. He wore a long coat and a green scarf.
"Jojo is such a sweet boy, I don't know why he got in trouble…" Mrs. Kujo sighed.
"I told him that it was my Imaginary Friend! He got mad and started to punch my bullies! Great Gramma Lisa told me that I had some sorta power!" Jojo objected, his full name was Joseph Johnathan Kujo, a fully American name.
He always was gentle and introspective, he wanted to be a writer when he grew up. His older brother Jotaro wasn't too far behind when it came to taking care of him if he got hurt or scared. He visited his Great Gramma Lisa every now and then, and he loved to watch Ultraman.
"Mr. Kujo, wait your turn to speak!" The principal snapped.
"Uh… my friend is mad…" Jojo squeaked, seeing his gigantic golden friend with fists raised, its red eyes staring down at the principal, its white hair billowing in the air.
"Jojo… it's okay, sweetie," Mrs. Kujo reassured.
"Mom! He's mad at him!" Jojo said, shivering.
Mrs. Kujo looked up to see a huge man hovering behind her son, looking down at her angrily.
"No! That's Mom! Don't hurt her!" Jojo warned as the man reached towards her, a kind smile on his face.
"Ora?" he asked.
"Yeah, that's Mom," Jojo informed as the man patted her head.
"Ora ora ora!" the man cried.
"He likes you, Mom!" Jojo giggled as they left.
"I should call your Grandpa Joseph, you and Jotaro have been acting weird…" Mrs. Kujo sighed as her phone rang.
Jojo's friend appeared.
"Look, we gotta talk," he informed the giant golden man.
The man nodded.
"You're way too strong, buddy," Jojo said as the man faded as soon as he heard his mother cry.
"Mom?! What's wrong?!" Jojo asked.
"It's your brother, he's in jail…" Mrs. Kujo sniffed.
"WHAT?! OH NO! We gotta get him out!" Jojo yelled, grabbing his mom's hand and running off somewhere.
"I don't get it! My big brother would never hurt anyone unless they hit him first!" Jojo ranted, following the cops and his mother.
The thirteen-year-old boy stepped into the cell block, seeing his intimidating older brother Jotaro sitting on the bed. He was tall, broad-shouldered, and made Jojo sweat just looking at him. Jojo was muscular for his age, but not too muscular to be as intimidating as Jotaro was. He was short for his age, too.
"I don't understand why my Jotaro would be here! He never hurt anyone around Joseph!" Mrs. Kujo cried as Jotaro knelt at the bars of the cell to be in perfect eye contact with his brother.
"What's the deal with Mom?" he asked.
"She's worried that you killed someone… my day has been weird so far…" Jojo sighed.
"Good grief… you have a spirit too, right?" Jotaro asked.
"Yeah, I do. Remember that imaginary friend I had when I was little?" Jojo inquired.
Jotaro nodded bluntly.
"Well… he's my spirit, Great Gramma Lisa always said he looked kind of like Grandpa Joseph's grandpa," Jojo sheepishly laughed as his Mom placed another call.
Jotaro huffed and reached through the bars to ruffle his little brother's hair, "You look more like Grandpa Joseph than you realize," He commented.
"Huh, I guess I do…" Jojo sighed.
Joseph Joestar immediately picked up the phone once he recognized the number, "Holly! How are you?" he asked merrily.
"Papa, I'm afraid this isn't a social call... it's Jotaro and Jojo. They've both gotten in trouble," Holly sobbed on the other end.
"What? Little Joey?" Joseph gasped, he knew his namesake was the sweetest little guy that he knew. So it was very uncharacteristic of him to act out like that.
"Must be because he's about to hit puberty…" Joseph supplied.
"No, he's said that a man keeps on bringing him things, and glaring at people…" Holly sighed again.
'A Stand?! No… not little Joey… he already has Hamon.' Joseph thought.
"I'm on my way, make sure Joey and Jotaro don't try anything stupid," Joseph sighed.
A few days had gone by and Jojo had visited Jotaro every day after school. But today was the day his Grandpa Joseph had said he was coming, and he had insisted on meeting him at the airport.
"Papa! Papa! Over here!" Holly called to her father.
"Holly!" Joseph greeted as he walked forward, he was tall with pretty sea-green eyes and the confidence of a greek hero. His once dark brown hair had gone grey. He was a hero from a bygone era…
Holly tackled into her father.
"Haha! I'm so glad you came, Papa!" Holly squealed.
"Of course! Give me a few days and I'll cross the globe!" Joseph said, smiling down at his one and only daughter.
"Now then, where's Jojo?" Joseph asked.
Jojo was talking to a young American lady who asked him for help translating some things on a map for her.
"So, is that it?" He asked kindly.
"Yes, thank you, Jojo," The girl said.
"You're welcome, have fun! It's a beautiful country here!" He called, walking towards where his family was.
He caught sight of his grandpa's swaggering form and broke into a sprint.
"GRANDPA!" He yelled, barreling into him.
Joseph laughed, catching his younger grandson, "How are you, Joseph?" he asked, using his grandson's real name.
"I'm fine! I was helpin' a really cute girl translate a map for her!" He cried, smiling up at him.
'He's just like me when I was younger…' Joseph thought, a tear coming to his eye.
"Grandpa! You're crying?! Was it something I said?!" Jojo gasped.
"No, I'm just so amazed that you grew up so well!" Joseph replied, noogieing his grandson.
"Grandpa! Stop it!" Jojo yelled, ending with a bit of a giggle.
All of a sudden, a large white-gloved hand grabbed Joseph's wrist. He looked up into the Stand's red eyes as it silently warned him to back off.
'What a visible form! He's certainly stronger than I thought!' Joseph thought, happy to find out that his namesake's Stand was strong.
"Hey! What did I say about family?! You don't hurt them!" Jojo snapped at his stand. His stand faded.
"Sorry about that, Grandpa! My stand activates whenever I get scared, or it feels like I'm in danger…" Jojo sighed.
"Well then, I think we should get your brother out, Avdol!" Joseph called a huge man, he was wearing long robes, a red one was over the other, his skin was tan, and he had a moai-like face. His hair was a long braid towards the back as the top was a small crowd of dreadlocks.
"This is Mohammed Avdol, I met him in Egypt," Joseph explained.
"Nice to meet you, Mr. Avdol! I'm Joseph Jonathan Kujo! Or just Jojo or Joey!" Jojo greeted, smiling.
Avdol shook his outstretched hand, "It is nice to meet you as well, Jojo,"
"Who didja bring this time, bitch?" Jotaro sighed, looking up at his mother.
"Just come out with your grandpa!" Mrs. Kujo called to him.
"Don't waste your time grandpa! I got this!" Jojo yelled, summoning his stand.
"Okay, bro! I'm sorry about this…" Jojo sighed.
The Stand summoned itself, "ORA!" It challenged.
In response, a giant blue, orange, and black haired man appeared in front of Jojo's red, gold, and white-haired Stand.
"ORA ORA ORA!" The other one challenged.
Jotaro and Jojo faced off, brother vs. brother!
"I'm not gonna fight you!" Jotaro roared, as the blue stand bent apart the bars of the cell.
It broke them off into small javelins as Jojo's stand took its stance to protect Jojo.
"ORA!" The blue one screamed, getting chokeheld by Jojo's Stand.
"Gotcha, bro!" Jojo cheered.
Jotaro smirked, "You got me," he acknowledged, stepping out.
Joseph smiled at his two grandsons, "I'll explain everything," he said.
Soon, the Kujos, Joseph, and Avdol were sitting at a cafe. Jojo was drinking cola as his stand bobbed around the blue one.
"Ora ora?" his stand asked.
"Ora..." the blue one sighed.
"Hey, Jotaro? We should come up with names for our friends! I'm thinkin' that I like Jody!" Jojo cheered.
"No, I have a better idea, Jojo," Avdol said, bringing out a stack of cards.
"Take one and do not look! We will determine your Stand's name!" Avdol instructed as Jotaro took one.
"Yours is the Star! Your stand's name is Star Platinum!" Avdol intoned resonantly as the blue stand smiled.
Jojo excitedly took a card, some of them fluttered down to the floor.
"Yours is the King! Your Stand's name is King's Sword!" Avdol intoned as Jojo looked up at his stand, who fist-bumped him.
"Now then, have you ever considered that you've felt like someone is watching you?" Joseph asked.
"Well, yeah, why?" Jojo wondered as Jotaro's face changed to one of concern.
"We're connected by blood, Jojo... Jotaro, the Joestar bloodline has a storied past fighting one man: DIO!" Joseph explained, pausing for dramatic effect.
"I... I've been having dreams. About a man like that DIO guy," Jojo admitted.
"What?" Mrs. Kujo gasped.
"He's... nice. That's what creeps me out about him..." Jojo sighed.
"How long have you had these dreams, Joey?" Jotaro asked.
"Ever since a few years back... my first one was after Great Gramma Lisa's funeral," Jojo sniffed, remembering the dream.
"Ah, there you are, young Kujo," Dio said, smiling down at him.
"W-Who are you?!" Jojo asked, shivering as he looked into Dio's kind eyes.
"Think of me... as an uncle almost..." Dio said, reaching out with his cold hand and trying to touch Jojo before a gold and white hand shot out and caught his wrist.
"My friend doesn't like you! Stay away from me!" Jojo snapped at him, taking a stance for a Hamon attack.
Jojo grew distant, "I wanna track him down and kill him, he's gonna hurt way more people... I stopped having the dreams a few nights back, and now I know why!" he decided.
"He wanted to recruit you to his ranks, one of the only masters of Hamon left. Also, you have a powerful stand," Avdol surmised.
"Joey, you're not going!" Jotaro decided as Jojo glared at his brother.
"Yeah! I am! I can't just stand idly by while Dio is out there!" Jojo retorted.
"Joseph Johnathan Kujo! You are not going! You're only thirteen years old!" Mrs. Kujo objected.
"No! I'm going and you can't stop me! I'm more than ready! I... I feel like I owe this to Great Gramma Lisa and Grandpa Joseph's friend Caesar... to help him finish this saga of blood and death. I wanna do this! If you wanna stop me, then go ahead and try!" Jojo challenged as Jotaro stood up.
"Outside. Now," he ordered.
"Okay, let's go!" Jojo challenged once they were outside.
Star Platinum and King's Sword came forth, with Jojo sitting in a lotus position on the ground as a fiery orange aura appeared around him and King's Sword!
He opened his eyes, "This... is the power of King's Sword!"
