The previous night they both had had dreams about one another. What were they to do? Keep it to themselves? Tell the other? What was a person to do in this situation?

Lindsay boarded the subway, feeling somewhat like everyone knew her secret. They couldn't know, could they? No. Lindsay was being foolish. It was just a dream, It meant nothing. She pulled out the paper as she took her seat in the subway, hoping that it would take her mind off of it. It didn't. She saw the words in the paper, but she wasn't comprehending them, instead thinking about him (thinking about both of them actually, but mostly him). She'd spent so much time with Danny in the last year she'd been here. She felt so connected to him, she didn't know how she was going to deal with him after this.

Danny walked off of the subway and onto the street. Hands in his pockets, head in the clouds. All he could think about was her, and how he was going to get her. Lindsay was clouding his whole mind. There was no denying it. He thought of what he was going to say to her today. How would he react to the sight of her face? The smell of her hair? He didn't think he would make it through the day with this feeling he was bottling up. As he approached the lab, he took a deep breath, walked in, and headed towards the locker room. There she was, at her locker, getting ready for the day. This was his chance.

She heard him walking towards her and turned around quickly, but tried not to make eye contact. She knew if she did, she would spill. But Danny was so hard not to look at. Their eyes met, and suddenly everything went away. She knew and he knew. He winked at her, tucked a strand of loose hair behind her ear, and headed up for a days work. Lindsay sighed in relief.

Just about everyday Danny and Don went out for a beer. But this time it was Danny and Lindsay who went out for a beer.

"Montana," Danny started. But Lindsay cut him off.

"I'm yours Danny."

They never knew about each other's dreams. They just knew the connection was there. They knew it was time.

--End.
