Imagine Your Dream
He held her in his arms that night; it was not the loneliest night, as two people shared it with the same mutual feelings. She brushed a few locks of hair away from her eyes, in order to see the swarms of fireflies tangle and dazzle throughout the midst of the field of gardens. She watched how the fireflies danced and twinkled in the night, always having their tails burn in the purple skies. Her breath was mere and silent, only out heard by the crickets that chirped with their annoying racket of sound. Never have nights been so marvelous, nor had they ever been as gentle as that night. A young man held that girl in his arms and he could only be as silent as she.
The girl gazed up and a curious smile struck her expression. Taichi noticed the tilt in her head and wondered what had been up there that made her inquire knowledge. He had been sitting behind her, and she sat between his legs. He rested his chin on her shoulders, and put his face against her soft cheeks. Sora turned her head and looked at him, he lifted his head and questioned her thoughts as well. Sparkling with only the utmost of beauty, her eyes looked rather of a shining star, as if the ones above their heads. It wasn't usual for her eyes to be illuminating with glitter, but he soon saw that the guarding stars reflected their radiating light off her eyes. His only glimpse of her face, insinuated what she had been thinking of. But instead of him asking, she already started to answer his inquiry.
"Do you ever wish upon stars?" A light voice said.
"…no…" He answered in reluctance.
She smiled, admiring his honesty. "I'm glad you're sincere."
There was no response, but a feathery touch of a hug given to her. He took a breather, and stayed in that position ceasing. After he let his grip loosely go, her head started to show of her sleepiness as she dozed off in a fantasy of dreams. Her head used his chest as a pillow.
Taichi stood up, but diligently let her slip into his arms and picked her up. Only cute would describe the structure of the girl's face, as her eyes were closed, lips locked, and her whole face was innocent. Kissed her lips charming and swift that hardly any moisture was left showing on them. Now he walked back to the castle of where she had lived. Making his way past the sleeping guardsmen, his footsteps made a few echoes on the stone floors. Reaching the stairway leading to the inner layer of the castle, he slowly trudged to her room from then on.
He set her in a drift to comfort, as she was lowered to her fluffy bed. Taichi began his way back to the door, when he walked back to her and just wanted to touch her hand. His rough fingers were at watch to not awake her while he felt through her soft fingers with his own. If hadn't it yet been clear to one's mind, that he didn't want to leave her that night. But there was no way he could stay, for he was nothing but a mere gardener who worked on the open grasslands containing of the firry insects.
As his shadowy figure left the stronghold, his inner feelings kept on irritating his mind. She had said he was sincere… but was that of reality, or of act?
His foe was standing beside the water well, watching his
every move and making sure her heart was never left harmed. The opposition put his hand to his chin and
thought about how low Taichi held his head, and observed how there wasn't much
mirth emphasizing Taichi's mind. What
had been the matter? Hadn't he just spent
a wonderful evening with the girl of whom was obtaining his heart? The anonymous stranger turned around, his
cape flung behind him, and he left.
