A/N: Ok…so my last fic before 100! AHH! I've been writing a ton of crack fics lately, so I wanted some angst. Soooo…Here's a HenNat-breaks-up-Nat-finds-love-elsewhere-then-feels-unsure-about-it fic!

Lol…It's a new genre!

REVIEW PLEASE!

Disclaimer: I don't own N2N! If I did, all us authors here would have Henrys and Gabes and miniature Dr. Fines.

Natalie stared down at the ring glistening on her finger yet again, sighing. She ended it with Henry after she graduated from Yale. Things were complicated. She met a guy from her music theory class and he asked her out once. They'd been going out for a year and he finally proposed and she said yes.

But for some reason…she wasn't happy.

She thought she was happy. She always knew that there was a difference between thinking she was happy and being truly happy. But when she was with him, she never felt truly happy.

Not on their first date, not their first kiss, not when he proposed, and never when they made love. She had to admit, the first time she felt guilty. Like she was betraying Henry. She'd always remember him laying next to her, his arms around her, whispering, 'I love you more than anything. More than life itself.'

And now she was letting him down. She felt awful. He loved her so much. He was her friend when she had none, he cared for her when no one else did, he loved her more than anyone tried. And she let him go.

She remembered everything he did for her. Everything from befriending her in the practice room to meeting her family to picking her up from clubs every night. She was his world. And now she was crashing it.

She looked at her ring once again, the guilt filling up. Was this what she really wanted? Did she really want to spend the rest of her life with this guy? A guy who didn't even make her happy. He never woke up in the morning and told her how beautiful she looked. He never watched her play the piano for hours at a time, never getting bored. He never held her so close that she knew she was safe from everything.

Henry did.

She quickly slid the ring off of her finger, getting rid of it once and for all as she grabbed her phone. She searched through the contacts list until she found the number. Henry. She waited for him to pick up, hoping he would answer.

"Hello?" his sweet familiar voice rang as he finally picked up.

She sort of froze not expecting him to answer so quickly. "Henry…It's Natalie."

He took a moment either to smile happily or to frown in pain. "Hey, Nat…what's up?"

"I'm so sorry…"

"About what?"

"Everything."

He just froze and cautiously asked. "Are you ok?"

"I love you, Henry."

A/N: Awwww! Poor Nat…
