Luna
It was about midnight. I couldn't get to rest and I was probably getting paranoid due to lack of sleep. I thought I heard voices. Whispers or songs about being privileged, love and destiny.
There was a full moon, so I decided to go for a short stroll. I climbed out of bed. In my boxers and vest, I stepped outside and felt a cool breeze that felt slightly out of place. The air was warm, probably due to it being the beginning of summer. As I walked down the grassy hill, next to the river following my previously walked in path, I heard the voices and singing growing stronger and ever nearer.
I noticed the beams of moonlight began to converge on a small, hidden grove that I had visited on various occasions previously, so I decided to investigate. The words became clearer and the tune was warm and mellifluous, like a song that should play for ever and ever. As I neared the grove, I felt an icy cold spread through my limbs, as if the sun had died, and the moon would stay directly above me indefinitely. The next few moments changed my life forever.
She was beautiful. Her hair raven black. Her face blemish-less. Her skin glowing with a radiance to rival the moon... Her perfume was the most intoxicating though; Lavender and roses sewn together with a faint hint of honey. Her hands and arms thin, but strong. She wore a long, flowing white dress with a necklace of black string and a moon pendant. She couldn't be much older than me, but the looked wise and powerful.
I noticed that I was drooling. I wanted to stop, but her eyes... Her big, beautiful, dark blue eyes. The depth they held within is inexplicable. I was content to simply stand there and stare. She smiled, a smile that could stop armies and wars in their tracks and give the world a new hope of peace.
She started to walk towards me and I was walking towards her. Her hair flowed like a river of ink and she moved with inhuman grace. The way each muscle moved, each strand of hair flowed and each ripple of her dress worked in complete harmony made me cry. How could she even look at me? With her beauty, she could catch the eye of any man she desired: A model, an astronaut or even a movie star or rock legend. But her eyes were locked onto mine. She looked at me as if I were the only man in existence. She took my hands into hers, they felt cold to the touch, as if she was in a cold winter storm, but she looked as warm as a flame.
We embraced for what seemed like hours, but the time for the sunrise never came. Her eyes locked onto mine, and mine onto hers. She moved closer and the embrace tightened. She held onto me like a child onto their mother. She never broke eye contact and wouldn't let go, not that I was going to complain. She neared me, and I knew what was coming. Her breath smelt like vanilla, and her teeth gleamed like pearls.
Her lips neared and I felt like a coiled spring. The few seconds it took her lips to reach, felt like an eternity, and her scent never left me. Then it happened.
It was a small sting at first, but pleasant warmth soon spread through my body. The seconds ticked into minutes and the feeling grew warmer and eventually I felt like I was on fire.
Her lips parted slowly, and the feeling began to subside. I looked into her eyes, again, and slowly I looked lower. There was no shock. I had suspected it all along. The simple irony of it, was that I came willingly.
Her lips red as velvet, and her teeth dripped slowly.
Then the transformation began.
[Hi, Daedelus here. This is my second Fanfic and my first without ponies. Please pm and review, I really want to know if I should carry on writing.]
