Dark of Day
Alone you rest in the dark of day
Comfortably held in a womb of prayers
The dreams of man are sure to sway
And reach out and clasp you in the darkest of ways
For although you hide behind my face
Apologize I will for hel'll claim your name
Take comfort though
Legends still live in an alcove of forgotten sin
By keeper's hand and stories told
Your footsteps shall forever be filled
So say no more, rest in the dark of day
Keep your name and remember…
Your ghost will forever remain
