All right I am trying to get into writing again after a long pause from it, so I wrote this one-shot. I hope you like it and if everything goes well I will keep one updating stories again.

I do not own Final Fantasy 7 I only own the idea for this story.

Happy reading

The rain fall down gently on the few flowers that dared to brave the harsh treatment they got from the humans that lived on this planet. If they could talk they would yell out for the gentle hands that used to take care of them and the gentle voice that always had a kind word formed on its lips. Soft step echoed through the church as a young man walked through it.

He falls on his knees right in the middle of the yellow flowers and looked up towards the clouds that let their tears fall down on his face. The boy's eyes are empty, as they no longer nows what happens around them. A soft sigh escape his lips has the boy finally close his eyes and let his head fall forward.

His hands softly stroke a petal of the one flower that stands out in the mass of yellow ones. A soft red glows in the middle and changes as it slowly goes toward the top of the petals and end with the same yellow as the other. With its colors it mirrors the sunset and sunrise only reversed.

The boy sigh again as he remembers a man, that used to love to run around like a child in the rain, as if it was a gift from a loved one. The man bite his lips as he realized that he once again was thinking about a past that would never have a future. The young man in the memory would never again smile or laugh at him. As he had become a thing of the past. Salty tears joined the rain as the man broke into silence sobs.

He had hated the rain that now hides his tears, since it remained him of all the things he had lost. He had said that to the other man too when he watched him run around. The man had stopped and slowly turned around. The long red hair was stuck to his face thanks to the rain and a spark made the blue eyes shine. He had open his mouth and with a few words made the young blonde smile.

"But Cloud the sun is even more beautiful , when it shows itself after the rain"

A small smile dared to graze the blond's lips when he thought about the word Reno had said that day and he could for once not help but agree to what the redheaded had told him. Maybe if he had thought like that when the rainy storms come to him. Maybe then things would have ended different.

Cloud rose from sitting and started to walk outside. When he opened the door the sun softly let its light spread through the clouds that had covered the skis earlier. The rain come to an halt as Cloud once again looked up a smile on his lips as he said:

"Hey Reno, the sun shines again today"
