Chapter One I let out a frustrated sigh, punching my fist into the weighted bag repeatedly. Eric did this every year before initiation, he'd get me worked up about nothing, throw out empty threats, purposely get on my nerves just to push my buttons. The new initiates-the transfers- I'd be training would be here in two days and I did not intend on coming off as more of an ass than I already am. I laughed and slid down against the pillar I had been using for support. Why-of all people-am I letting Eric get to me? If I wanted, I could go right up to Max and tell him I want leadership and Eric would be gone and stuck in training, but him alone with initiates and weapons is dangerous. I pulled myself off the floor and made my way toward the tattoo parlor. "Tori! You in here?"

"Over here Four!" A response came from the back room.

"What do ya need this time?" Tori asked sarcastically.

"I need you to watch out for..." I shifted my eyes around the room for any potential threats.

"Divergents." I whispered,

"I know you volunteered for aptitude testing and I could use the early information of a possible initiate, transfer or born. I might be able to save them if I know ahead of-" "Okay Four, I get it. I'll tell you what I know when I get back." Tori laughed, waving her hand dismissively.

I thanked her and ran upstairs taking on my shift in the control room, ready to stare down screens monitoring all the nothingness happening in the Dauntless headquarters. The nothingness being the usual, stereotypical, rowdiness of our faction. I rubbed my face with my hands tiredly. Two more days, just two more days.

So this is just kind of a promo for the story I want to write in Four's P.O.V for all the books. So maybe review and tell me what you think? Thank you and happy reading 😁
