HELLO SHUFFLE! FANS!! Please, take pity, this is my first Shuffle! fic…so lots of reviews would be nice…unless of course you hate it, BUT let's be optimistic for a change .
Sia gazed up at the ceiling. Sunlight was streaming in through the windows, whilst a gentle breeze wafted her curtains. She sat up. Hadn't she closed her window last night? Groaning (it was too early in the morning for self opening windows) and rubbing her sleepy eyes, she swung her legs over the side of her bed. It was then that she noticed she was wearing cut off jeans and a sleeveless shirt…not her pyjamas. Weirder still, her hands were covered in smudges of makeup where she'd rubbed her face.
"What on earth?" Sia muttered, glancing in the mirror. Her eyes wandered around the room as she pondered the situation…then snapped back to the mirror. "What did you do?"
Her other self narrowed its eyes and stared coldly back at her. "What do you mean 'what did I do'?"
"I didn't go to sleep like this! What did you do?"
"Nothing."
"Well you must have d-"
"I said nothing!!" With this, her reflection turned away.
"Sia-chan!" her dad called.
Sighing, the god princess raised her voice to answer. "Yes, what?"
"Are you going to school today?"
She frowned. "Why would I, its Sunday?"
"No, that was yesterday…"
"WHAT!!??"
The teen leapt off of her bed and pounced on her unsuspecting school
uniform, which was hanging on the back of a chair. Her dad peered round the door to see if she was getting ready…unfortunately (for him) when Sia had started changing. A few seconds later, he was lying flat on his face outside the doorway, with a chair digging painfully into his back.
Sia stepped onto the pavement and glanced at her watch. She squealed. It was only a quarter of an hour till school started! Satchel flailing, she pegged it down the street.
When she finally reached the school gates with minutes to spare, Sia collapsed, panting against the railings.
"Are you alright?"
The god looked up to see Kaede standing over her. "Kaede?"
"Oh…" she said, stepping back. "God-san…"
Sia frowned. Since when did Kaede call her that?
"Um…class is starting soon, you should get going," her classmate muttered offhandedly, turning towards the school. Lowering her head, she added, almost inaudibly, "Wouldn't want you to be late…"
With this, she turned and ran towards the main entrance, leaving a bewildered Sia squatting by the gate. Kaede had sounded really bitter… An unpleasant thought occurred. She had gone to sleep on Saturday night…but she had woken up this morning wearing make-up she didn't remember applying and clothes she didn't remember picking out. What if her other self had done something on Sunday…but what?
So….like? Hate? Either way, please, REVIEW, REVIEW, REVIEW!!! )
