Hey! I'm Roxy Goth, this is my first time writing for BH6. Takes place after Fred's Bro-trillian

I have made up Wasabi's name as it has never been revealed.

I do not own BH6 in any way shape or form.

James was helping clear up after Fred's Bro-tillian, placing everything carefully and orderly back where they came from.

GoGo appeared behind him, flinging a fork and a couple of knifes into the top dware.

"D-d-d!" James said, stopping her closing the dware. "You could put them in properly."

GoGo gave him a look. "There's more to come, we can organise them when they're all here."

"Or we can save time and do it now?"

"Whatever Wasabi. Later." She turned back round and went back to her task.

Muttering a couple of words that weren't actually swear words but close to it, James quickly put everything back where it was supposed to be.

"Watch your hand!" Gogo flung some more cutlery at him.

"Hey, watch it!"

"I said move your hand, Wasabi!"

As she sped of James quickly organised the cutlery again and checked all round before closing the dware with a sigh of relief.

"Is your dad really an orthodontist?" James jumped a mile in the air as Fred materialised at the end of the counter.

"Dammit Fred, don't do that!"

"Sorry Wasabi." Fred climbed easily onto the counter and proceeded to pick a straw out of the container and fiddle with it while he talked. "Is your dad really an orthodontist?"

"Yeah. He is."

There was a pause during which Wasabi got a towel and started drying dishes.

"What's the difference between an orthodontist and a dentist?" Wasabi gave him a look of confusion. "I mean, they both do stuff with teeth right?"

James put the cloth down. "Well yeah, but orthodontist is more specialised. It focuses more on development of face, teeth and jaw and then figure out how to get the best outcome. You study to be an dentist, then you study to be an orthodontist."

Fred scrunched his nose up, and carefully put the straw back. "So it's like an advanced dentist?"

"You can think of it like that, yeah." Wasabi said as neutrally as he could.

"Cool." Fred jumped of the counter again and headed over to his mother while James picked the straw out the holder and threw it in the bin.

"Really?" He turned to see Gogo leaning on the other side of the counter and looking at him with a mixture of exasperation and pity.

"Oh, c'mon!" He said, defensively. "Would you want to drink though a straw that Fred – Fred mind you – has had his mitts round?"

Gogo opened he mouth before closing it again and shrugging. "Okay, you have a point."

"Thank you." James said, a bit huffily. And he intended to end the conversation there, but his mouth carried on with. "Believe it or not I'm not trying to be annoying, you know."

There it was again the look of pity and exasperation. "I know. C'mon, we're done. Let's get back to normal lives."

James sighed and walked with her to the door, fighting the urge to look around. If he did he'd see something out of place and then he would be here till midnight.

"Just so you know." Gogo said, suddenly. "I'm glad you didn't burn to death in melted metal."

"Yeah so am I."

"You'll be alright? Back at your apartment, I mean."

James considered before saying. "I dunno. I think so. I should be."

Gogo nodded. "Cool. Well, catch you later." She turned and left, giving Hiro a hug before she did.

"Hey Wasabi!" James turned to see Fred beaming at him. "Thanks for today. I mean, I know it wasn't your intention to be kidnapped and held against your will and everything, but you handled it pretty well I think."

Wasabi gave him a look. "I panicked constantly throughout the whole thing."

"Yeah, but you panicked with style!"

James didn't get how that was possible, but realising the sentiment behind it smiled back. "I guess I did, didn't I? Thanks Fred. See you tomorrow."

With that he set of home.
