A random one-shot I thought of. I've been having writers block, so maybe writing this will cure it.
Well, this is just dandy. If I had to think of three words to describe my situation, they would probably be censored. I walked down my street till I saw the house.
When I got home, I saw Angel and Gazzy flying around outside. Normally I would have smiled to myself at their cuteness, but for now I was jealous of their wings. Everything seemed pointless and annoying today. Just one more fly in my ointment. Scratch that, bad mental image. Forget Max, why couldn't mom have grafted wings on me instead. Max is always talking about how great it would be to be human, she wouldn't mind.
I walked into the house to see Max sleeping on my couch. She's such an idiot. First she has freaking wings, then she doesn't even use them on such an annoyingly nice day like today, then she crashes on my couch! Fang and Iggy were chatting in the kitchen. I strutted in, and plopped my backpack down on the table with a sigh.
"I'm just gunna leave." Fang said, avoiding my gaze.
"Hi Ella!" Iggy said cheerfully. If anyone except him had spoken so cheerfully to me, I would have been sick. He's lucky he's so cute. He'd be dead meat if he wasn't . "Whazzap?"
"Oh, I just got to school to be beat up by the same jerkos that Max beat up, hence the black eye, got to Algabra where I got my test back, which I failed, by the way, then I couldn't find my English paper, which is a third of my grade, then I got a detention in history for not wanting to set next to the same jerkos from the morning, then I tripped and hit my wrist in PE. After lunch, which I couldn't eat because of allergies, my day continued on the same as the beginning: Stressful."
"Wow." Iggy said, in his super-hot way. "Let me see that wrist." He looked over my wrist and eye, then gave me some ice. "Pretty stressfull day, huh?"
"Tell me about it."
"Well… You know, stressed spelled backwards is desserts." He smiled deviously.
A while later, we were sitting eating crème brulee. "Wow, Iggy, this is so good." I said between bites.
"Feeling de-stressed?"
"Yeah."
"Good." He smiled, and closed the distance between us with a kiss.
