A Walk in the Park

Sometimes when the stress got too much for him to handle Atobe would sneak out and go for a walk around town to clear his thoughts. Of course, now that he was a famous tennis player and only son and heir to the Atobe Corporation he couldn't just walk out and about. Well, at least not looking like himself he couldn't. After putting on a rather absurd disguise he made his exit.

When he got in to town he would go to the nearest park which, at this time of the night, was usually deserted. He enjoyed the silence, revealed in it. Sometimes he'd bring something to be read, other times he'd just plug in his headphones and relax, the world he carried on his shoulders temporarily forgotten.

But, the spell would never last long. Most of the time the disturbance of his peace was when his butler, and trusted companion would call to warn him that his parents or someone was suspecting he had snuck out and he's have to go back.

With a sigh he'd run his hand through his hair.

"Fine."

Hanging up the phone he'd plug his headphones back in humming lightly to the music as he stuffed his hands back into his pockets and began the walk back.

Sure he didn't get much time to sleep or rest and maybe these little walks were taking a toll on him as well, but they were apart of his routine.

And a routine isn't meant to be changed.
