"You know trying to tell me what to do is a very bad idea, right?"
The Triumvirate loomed over the sand demon from their high benches, clearly annoyed at his antics. "Listen," Azazel stated, loud and booming, "this...ethereal mistake...must be taken care of." "And you, being who you are," Beelzebub said, continuing the statement from Azazel, "are the most similar to her." "And so," Lucifer said, determined to finish the point and have the last word, "we, the Triumvirate, have deeded you with the task of destroying her."
Shukaku sat in his seat before them, in his humanoid form, with his legs crossed. He chuckled, his expression going from disinterest to slight amusement in an instant.
"Lucy," he started.
"Do not call me that," Lucifer said, cutting him off immediately, a threat very present in his tone.
"Lucy," Shukaku started again, his grin growing wider, "this is your daughter. Are you sure you want her snuffed out like this?"
"Yes, we are sure," replied Azazel, his voice booming and authoritative.
Shukaku then tilted his head to the right slightly, just enough to get a good look at the other Lord of Hell. "No one asked you, Ass-ass-l." he said in a deadpan tone. He then turned his attention back to the center, where Lucifer sat, the smile that had previously left his lips returning in full force.
"Well, Lucy?"
"Do not call me that."
"That's not an answer."
Lucifer sighed, closing his eyes as well. "Shukaku," Beelzebub said, capturing the attention of the sand demon before him, "even if he weren't strong enough to want to snuff her out, Azazel and I have no qualms with getting rid off her. That's a majority of the Triumvirate. You understand what that means."
In response, Shukaku chuckled heartily, letting the sound resonate through the room. "Fine," he said, rising from his seat as he did so, "I'll do your dirty work. On one condition." "We are not here to make deals," Lucifer started, indignation dripping from his words, "Espec-" "What condition?" Beelzebub said, cutting the King of Hell off. "Lucifer must be the one to confirm that I ended her existence." Shukaku replied, all signs of joking and laughter gone from his voice. "Deal," Azazel said, almost too quickly.
And with that, Shukaku left the room, but not before overhearing the funniest thing Lucifer had ever said; "You two should know better than to make deals with demons."
