Can be within the Kage and the Heiress story...:). Enjoy and tell me what you think!
Naruto is Kishi's.
"A message from Konoha, sir!", the Intel Division Ninja of the Sand urgently stated as he handed a scroll to Baki. Since the message came through a messenger bird, it should be an emergency.
Baki immediately took the scroll and examined the seal placed on it. It has the Hokage symbol so this must come from Naruto himself. What could the content be? Another shinobi attack? Rogue ninjas? Killings? Baki only hope for neutral or good news. Anything, but bad news.
As protocol, this message should directly be placed on the Kazekage's hands. Some information were so classified that only kage to kage exchanges are allowed. But this particular scroll do not possess a seal that indicated otherwise, so he opened it.
Oh how he wished he didn't.
Baki's eyes widened as a blush crept unto his hardened feature. A number of Suna shinobi witnessed the transformation were puzzled as to what the content of the scroll was. Whatever it was, it should be something really interesting because Baki, Baki the Sand shinobi, teacher to the Kazekage and the rest of the Sand Siblings do not blush.
The said man rolled the scroll as fast as he unrolled it. He cleared his throat and proceeded to walk towards the Kazekage's office, leaving the curious behind.
Baki tentatively knocked at the doors of Gaara's office. He wasn't sure of how to approach the Kazekage on the content of the scroll. So he decided that he should let him read the content instead.
"Enter", came a muffled response from behind the door. Baki saw Gaara behind a pile of papers, folders and scrolls wondering really how his former student manages to live a life outside his office. Then again, does he have a life outside that office. That information is debatable, because apparently, he has a girlfriend back in Konoha and Baki could bet that his Kazekage is no longer a virgin. The later thought made him flinch from an internal smack he gave himself from even thinking at that line. Very inappropriate.
"What is it?", Gaara said without looking up. He was reviewing budgets and reports as demanded by the Wind Daimyo.
The old sensei cleared his throat.
"A scroll, from Konoha."
He waited, but Gaara did not respond. After a few good seconds, the Kazekage looked up, seemingly waiting for an answer.
"Go on…", he instructed him as he once again reverted back to his paper works.
Baki realized that Gaara wanted him to tell him the content of the scroll.
"Uh…I think you should read it yourself Lord Kazekage..", the former teacher is again sporting a light blush. He was supressing the urge to bring his hands to his face and scratch his exposed cheeks because of embarrassment.
"I don't have time. And besides, I doubt that the scroll is confidential. Please, tell me what it says.", The Sand leader demanded, knowing the protocol.
He wasn't the one to argue. And certainly, he would not argue with his Kazekage. So after taking in a deep breath, Baki opened the scrolled and read anyway.
With a stern voice, he read, "My beloved, Gaara. Let's get married. Hinata."
From then on, Gaara would always listen to Baki whenever he would state that he should personally read a particular scroll, especially those coming from Konoha.
