He ruffled it's white fur the moment it came out of the water.

Paradise. At last he'd found Paradise, and the world was anew. And he's found his pack, no, his friends again.

They too had been reborn with the world. How many other wolves had been reborn with them? They had been so close to being wiped out completely, but one could never truly tell just how many of his kind remained or how many had been slaughtered by the humans.

Kiba ran up the warm grassy slope and towards his den where he could sleep.

A small pack of wolves, of all breeds, rested in the woods. One a large female red wolf watched over her pack atop a lager bolder. She was beginning to fall asleep herself when something from afar caught her eye. She leapt to her feet and tried to find what it was she saw.

A twinkle in the light caught her eye and she darted towards it disturbing one other wolf, her sister wolf, Naru. She raced towards the possible threat to her pack but stopped short when she saw the young pup with his golden eyes, shinning brown coat, and the sent that she promised her self that she would never forget; Toboe.

"Naku, what is it?" Naru stood beside her sister and growled at the strange pup.

"Naru, it is okay. Go back to the others," Naku ordered. Her normal hard golden eyes softened slightly as her sister turned around.

"Who are you?" asked Toboe.

"I am called Naku by many and leader of my pack by all. And you Toboe were once my son."
