Nya handed the scrolls over to Misako. "Sensei Wu told me to give these to you before we escaped. He said that you would understand what they meant."
Misako opened up the scrolls and set them on the table. She studied them closely, her eyebrows furrowing as she went through them. The rest of the ninja were all standing around. They were struggling to understand what the scrolls said.
They were all trying so hard to read what was written that none of them noticed Misako's reaction until she nearly collapsed. She looked up at them with a worried look, her eyes meeting Lloyd's directly. She shook her head slightly, to make her brain stop seeing him with blue eyes.
"We have a very big problem," she told the ninja. "According to Wu, the Overlord has gotten something very wrong. He's thinks that it's the golden power that can bring him back but it can't. If it were any other person that had been chosen, his plan wouldn't work."
Confused looks crossed every face in the room.
"What's bringing him back then?" Kai asked. "He seemed pretty sure that it was the golden power."
"Underworldly power," Garmadon said suddenly. "That's what he's mistaking for golden power. Lloyd must have some degree of that DNA from me and traces of it are being let out every time he uses his powers."
"Alright," Cole said. "If that's true I don't see how it makes a difference. No matter what power Lloyd is using, he's still the one that could bring the Overlord back to life."
Misako shook her head gravely. "No, this is a very bad thing. If the Overlord were to find this out, he would know that there are many ways for him to get back to life that are easier to get to. Lloyd isn't the only child born of underworldly blood."
"So the Overlord just needs to find one decedent of the Underworld and he could come back?" Zane asked.
"How are we meant to stop him then?" Jay shivered slightly after his sentence.
"There are very few underworldly children out there. Only 7 to be exact and Lloyd is one of them."
"So we basically need to find all these people and keep them away from the Overlord's clutches? Where do we even start?" Nya questioned.
A slightly haunted look crossed Misako's face. "I know where to find two of them."
"Okay so we just go and find these two and convince them to come with us and stay safe," Lloyd said. "It should be easy."
"Unfortunately not," Garmadon stated. "I don't think they'll be very willing to come with us."
"Why not? We're good people," Jay argued.
"I don't think that'll matter to my children," Misako said. "They're under the impression that we abandoned them."
"Your children?" Lloyd asked.
"Yes, your twin and older sister."
